Tour Privado Sintra, Cabo da Roca e Cascais - Meio Dia

Anna is a very experienced tour guide with fluent English. My experience with her was really positive.

We were in Portugal exactly 11 years ago and have done these tours back then. Pedro, our guide yesterday, made our tour enjoyable and interesting. He was funny, very professional and he made sure we were comfortable and satisfied with our activities. Excellent service! Thank you.

We had a great day out with Ana. Booked into a small group tour but was just my husband and I which made things nice and intimate. Had some traffic challenges getting out of Lisbon and as we approached Sintra. This I suspect impacted what we were able to see in Sintra. I knew we were going to drive past some of the sites but seeing Pena palace kilometres away, on top of a hill was not what I thought we had signed on for. Same with the castle of the Moors. I still think this was more on us as we had limited ourselves to the half day. We did drive directly past the Sintra National Palace. Now to the great parts - Cabo da Roca, Guinish, Cascais and the coastal drive back to Lisbon. Leaving Sintra had us weaving our way down the mountain and was handled expertly by Ana. Passing through the old fishing village of Guinish was very interesting. Seeing and standing on the western most point of mainland Europe was super cool. The coastline was impressive even though we had a lovely calm day, so not a wave to be seen! Cascais was beautiful and really brought to life by Ana and her knowledge of the area and its history. We stopped for gelato which was an added bonus, then wound our way back to Lisbon with Ana providing added colour to what we saw, as she had done all day. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable day with Ana. There is a lot to see in a short space of time, so just bear that in mind when you select the half day tour.

This is really a driver service, not a tour. We were taken to Sintra and Cascais and given an hour in each location to look around. Our driver advised us to skip Cap abo Roca, said it wasn’t worth it. If we went there would be inadequate time in the towns. A lot of the drive is on the highway. The driver was very nice and dropped us in good locations, picking us up promptly. But if you want a tour, this is not it.

Anna was a great tour guide. She drove very carefully and shared many personal stories living in the area. Though it was a rainy day, she showed us sites that was visible. We loved Cabo de Roca the best. Thank you!

Private tour. Beautiful scenery. Personable guide. More fun and informative than big bus excursion from cruise ship. Reasonable price.

Pedro, our host and driver is knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and incredibly helpful. He adjusted to our requests and made our trip the absolute best of our time in Portugal. Highly recommend.

Our tour guide was great but we were not able to see any of the sites due to the weather. I’d definitely recommend verifying site access before paying the price for it.

This is a great tour. Pedro is an excellent tour guide. He is knowledgeable and friendly. Our tour day was rainy and foggy and he was able to make some adjustments to accommodate the weather. We really appreciate him and will highly recommend him.
