Começaremos com Filerimos, que além da vista panorâmica do Mar Egeu, é um importante sítio arqueológico. Aqui ficava a Acrópole dos Antigos Ialyssos com um importante templo dedicado a Athena Polias. A colina recebeu o nome de um monge que veio de Jerusalém no século 13 trazendo consigo um ícone da Santíssima Virgem pintado pelo apóstolo Lucas. Pegue um pouco de pão da mesa do café da manhã, os pavões que moram lá ficarão felizes em ganhar algum mimo em troca das fotos.
Butterfly Valley também é imperdível. Todos os anos, no final da estação das chuvas (final de maio), milhares de borboletas atraídas pelo perfume das árvores de goma-doce orientais cobrem toda a paisagem. É uma experiência única e você definitivamente deveria tentar vê-la. Faremos uma parada em uma parte do vale onde você não precisa pagar a entrada. Se mais tarde você decidir ir mais fundo no vale, terá que pagar a taxa de admissão.
Seven Springs - um pequeno paraíso secreto, com muitos pinheiros e um incrível fluxo de águas cristalinas, rodeado por uma vegetação que revela a grandeza da natureza. Este lugar deslumbrante tem sete nascentes cintilantes e alguns rios, que correm o ano todo e nunca secam, mesmo no verão muito quente. Todos eles formam um lago, que foi construído pelos italianos principalmente para abastecer a vila vizinha de Kolympia com água doce. Este é o LUGAR para se refrescar, mesmo no calor mais alto do verão, e para desfrutar de um cenário mágico e refrescante.
A seguir no nosso programa - a belíssima aldeia de Lindos! Faremos uma parada para admirar o belo panorama de Lindos, para que você possa tirar quantas fotos quiser. Esta vista da vila de Lindos com suas casas cúbicas espalhadas pela encosta sob a acrópole é uma das cenas mais fotografadas da Grécia. E uma vez em Lindos, você terá cerca de 1 hora de tempo livre para explorar a antiga Acrópole de Lindos, passear pelo labirinto de vielas sinuosas ou relaxar nas três praias douradas que Lindos tem a oferecer.
Por último, mas não menos importante - Cidade Medieval de Rodes / Cidade Velha de Rodes - Património Mundial da UNESCO, com os seus edifícios medievais, igrejas imponentes e tabernas tradicionais. Você terá cerca de 1 hora de tempo livre para passear admirando os principais destaques da Cidade Velha: Bairro Judeu, Praça Ippokratous, famosa Rua dos Cavaleiros, Palácio do Grão-Mestre, Museu Arqueológico e Fortificações do Palácio.

We had a great time on this tour. Jiannis was a great guide. Very courteous and always on point. Stops were also very nice - Lindos is a quaint town to walk around (be mindful you only have an hou) - seven springs was unexpected and the butterfly valley is neat. Highly recommend!
Half price tours gives full value. Comfortable transport mixed with a lesson in the island’s multilayered history and culture, economy and ecology! We loved every stop around the island. George and the team were outstanding!!

This was an excellent tour, so happy we chose this one. Great communication with the company and with the Driver George. The bus was comfortable, and the driver took his time to explain some history to us as we drove. Very informative. I highly recommend this as the best way to see the highlights of the island.
We booked the trip from home and we were picked up at the hotel as agreed, the guide was very competent and could tell a lot during the trip, and was good at telling about what was best to do in individual places, so we got the most out of the visited places.
If you are looking for a driver to take you to locations around the island, this activity will be fine. But if you are looking for a tour with a guide to provide information about the places you are visiting, I would not recommend this tour. Our driver drove us to the locations on the itinerary, gave us time to explore, and told us when to meet him back at the van. He answered questions and joined in some conversation, but he didn’t provide us with history or information about the locations.
NO WAY I WOULD RECOMMEND HALF PRICE TOURS! Sometimes you don’t get what you pay for. My wife and I have had the opportunity to visit over 110 countries and all 7continents. 90% of the time we book private guides for our tour needs. We usually use the service Tours By Locals or occasionally Viator. In this instance I initially booked with Half Price Tours on Viator. In checking on their company, I found their website and realized booking directly with them was slightly cheaper. I cancelled my Viator reservation, booked with the company online and communicated with them via email to confirm,make requests for lunch stop, and reservations and to also reconfirm our guide/driver. What ensued on tour day was nothing short of horrendous and unprofessional. Our driver Valenti was a nice guy. He was not however a guide (licensed or otherwise). He did not accompany us into historical stops like the Acropolis of Lindos or the Walled City /Old Town in Rhodes and explain these sights. He did have some information about the sights and conveyed it while driving to destinations, but not to the depth that a professional guide would provide. The tour was billed as a full day and full island tour. While we chose to include a lunch stop, the tour was more accurately 6 hours (including lunch) and comprised only part of the island. A full day should be 7.5 to 8 hours. The company picked our start time of 10am and our driver told us he had another tour pick up at 5pm. So clearly they never intended to provide a full day. The Half Price Tours website doesn’t provide a payment portal at the time of booking. Our driver was with us throughout the day and we even stopped at their business office right after our morning pick up at the cruise port in order for him to speak with his boss and complete some paperwork.. No one asked for my credit card for processing EVER. At the end of the day Valenti dropped us off at the Walled City and left. Honestly, I forgot that they hadn’t run the credit card. About 1 hour later our driver showed up at our cruise ship demanding cash payment. His boss Agne was on the phone and yelling. She was abrasive, rude, and refused to allow me to speak or complete a sentence I suggested we pay using a mobile credit card payment machine. She said no. I suggested paying over the phone. She again said no. She wanted me to go to a. ATM and provide cash. Given the shadiness and the ”convenient” no one collected scenario I was worried that a cash payment would not demonstrate payment in full. Using a credit card afforded me a receipt of transaction. Agne insisted that I would have to pay never before mentioned or agreed upon credit card fees. I said no. The company had all day AND a visit to the office to secure payment by the originally agreed payment form and for whatever reason did not. There error in not conveying information to their driver or me the client is there error and as the consumer I am not going to incur additional expenses due to their incompetence. Everyone makes mistakes. But the behavior of Agne…yelling, swearing, name calling etc. is wholly unacceptable since the error was of her own creation. If you make a mistake, own it, apologize and fix it. Don’t blame the customer for your poor business practices. Ultimately I paid via PayPal with my credit card and did not incur any fees. I assume these were passed onto the business. It is of note that while we tipped our driver at the end of the day commensurate with guide services he was not a guide and didn’t provide these services to an established standard . Was he nice? Yes! Personable? You betchya! A safe driver? Yep! But, we contracted for guide services and did not receive this. We were told we’d have a full day tour and didn’t receive this. Penalizing the driver for the hinkiness of his employer seemed inappropriate. As a result of the actual services provided, horrible behavior from Agne and the payment snafu I can’t recommend this company. I’ve hired well over 50 private guides in our travels and never have I had the kind of problems and unprofessionalism of Half Price Tours. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Dear Zenzi, it is YOUR responsibility to pay for the services that has been provided to you. You had intentions to cheat, and this was clearly visible. You pretended that you forgot, but this was NOT a case. You booked on Viator, then cancelled, and rebooked on our website, BECAUSE WE ARE SO TRUSTING that we do not ask for your payment details in advance. When I have send you an email asking for some kind of deposit, to avoid a no-show on the tour day, you conveniently ignored it, but still answered to the email, asking to arrange a restaurant for you. So you did got our request, but you just ignored it. The same way as you conveniently disappeared in the Old town of Rhodes, without ANY INTENTIONS to pay. I have never ever sweared to you or any other customer of ours. Neither I name called you. I said clearly that IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to pay for the services you received, and since your cruise ship was leaving any minute the only options were ATM or PayPal. So forgive me for not listening your stories, when my concern was to be paid for the services we provided, BEFORE your cruise ship departs, and BEFORE we would need a port police to get involved. So your tactics to delay the payment by having conversations on the phone was not working on me. It is also YOUR responsibility to ask IN ADVANCE the payment methods we accept. So please, do not pretend that you did not do this on purpose. The driver had to search for you next to the cruise ship to get paid, as you were happily heading back to your ship, smiling that you got a tour FOR FREE. We NEVER accept payments by credit card on the phone, if you have asked, you would have known that. And it is nowhere in all the world that you have been traveling, that someone would accept you without being paid in advance, like we did. So let's say this will be a lesson for us and Vitali, to ask to be paid in the beginning of the tour. But he was just trying to be polite and trusting, not expecting to be THAT MUCH SCAMMED. As for the tour from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm IT IS A FULL DAY TOUR. Moreover you had to be back to your cruise ship by 4:30 pm, so not sure your complaints about it. I am feeling truly sorry to have experienced this, it shatters our trust in people. You have zero respect for hard working people. You say you book on Tours by locals, so why you did not book with them? Oh probably because it is charged 3 times more expensive, yes? AND you have to pay in advance, so you cannot cheat them also. The tour is with highly knowledgeable driver-guide. If you wanted an official guide to be guided inside archeological sites, you should have requested this PRIOR your tour, and you would have been charged double the price. As this is how much it costs the official guides services in Greece. Hope this clarifies. Enjoy your travels, and have more respect for hard working people, without trying to get away without paying for their services!
Great way to see the main attractions in Rhodes in a day. Very comfortable air conditioned transport and our driver was helpful and knowledgeable. Each stop is quite spread out so expect to be in the vehicle a fair bit but the surroundings are beautiful so it didn’t bother us. Each stop is brief but gives you enough time to see the main parts of each place. It worked well with our two children as they would get bored staying in one place for too long. I would definitely recommend this trip.
This tour was enjoyable, although our guide didn’t provide us with too much information as we drove. It was more like a car service between various sights around the island. It was also more physically demanding than the descriptjon led us to believe.
