A visita guiada começa em frente ao Arco Marchesale para admirar parte das paredes e a fachada do Palácio Marchesale. Pare na Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, onde se destacam a Torre do Relógio e a Igreja Matriz. Caminhe pelas ruelas da antiga vila e aprecie as três varandas panorâmicas de onde pode admirar a maravilhosa vista da marina e da costa. Continue até a Piazza San Benedetto e a Via Muraglia e, saindo da cidade velha, passaremos perto da Via Traiana e cruzaremos a Ponte Bourbon em Lama Monachile. A caminhada termina no Lungomare Domenico Modugno, onde está instalada a estátua dedicada ao cantor e compositor conhecido em todo o mundo pela música "No azul pintado de azul - Volare". No final da visita será oferecido um “café especial” Polignano, preparado com licor de amêndoa, natas e raspas de limão, ou um bom gelado caseiro. (Atenção a degustação não está inclusa para menores não pagantes)

Valeria was an excellent guide. I learned a lot about the history of the old city, including details about the old fortifications. We strolled around and she spoke about the buildings in the main square and the relics and statues in the church. We then toured the new city and the magnificent views from different vantage points. The town is beautiful and the views tremendous. I highly recommend visiting and having Valeria as your guide.

The old town is gorgeous, the seafront promenade is stunning, Valeria is very knowledgeable and she has passion for the history. She showed us Centro Storico, Lama Monachile, Statua di Domenico Modugno, at the end we had ice cream at the popular cafe. We spend pleasant afternoon wandering around this quite town. Valeria O Valeria, our family cannot express here how AWESOME this tour was! we started just thinking this was going to be another lecture type of tour, now this quickly change into an awesome experience! Valeria has a innate ability to deliver an incredible amount of history while establish an engaging conversation with all of us. Valeria was able to relate our interest with the tour and the places. We selected late afternoon/evening tour as the city of Polignano a Mare comes to life at night.
