Our tour guide was amazing. Telling history relating to our interest. Like walking through with an archeologist with a great story telling ability!! Amazing time. Plus skipping all lines was huge bonus we didnt realize going in how nice that would be

This was worth the price to do privately. I did a group tour years ago, but this was so much better.

Driver was very polite and drove smoothly and with care. Guide was extremely knowledgeable and took us to places where we were interested- very patient with our tour and our questions. We had a wonderful time.

Francesco picked us up in a clean, well appointed car in Sorrento. It was comfortable despite a lot of traffic on the journey. Giulia was a fantastic guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient through a crowded Pompeii. This was our second tour of Pompeii, and we would absolutely do it again!

Our guide, Maria, was so great at explaining the history, culture and science associated with Pompei and the volcanic eruption. My only complaint was that we didn't get to see nearly enough.

We had a wonderful guide with Goldentours International. She was very knowledgeable about Pompeii and savvy on where to start to avoid the crowds. She did a great job showing us the highlights and explaining the history so everything was really meaningful. Definitely recommend!! Driver was great, nice and easy day.

The guide was excellent-knowledgeable and fun. She showed us the highlights and kept us moving at a good pace. She even helped us find the best book in the gift shop. Then she brought us out to our very friendly driver for the drive back to our hotel. It was all perfect!

We can highly recommend this tour. On a hot day having the driver pickup from our hotel and for the return journey was excellent. The tour itself was amazing. Our guide Ornello who was waiting for us when we arrived tailored our tour to our family. Engaging our teenagers and showing us the quieter parts of Pompeii away from the crowds. We saw many big tourist groups and also DIY tourists with maps and I am sure that having a personal guide ensured we got the most out of our morning!

We used Golden Tours for a Private tour to Pompei and Vesuvius, as well as Positano and private transfer from Naples Centrale to Sorrento hotel. I dealt exclusivley with Annamaria R, and she was amazing. Getting from Naples Centrale can be tough and include switching trains, but for only a small amount more we had an english speaking driver meet us at the train platform and take us to and from the hotel in Sorrento in a beautiful Mercedes van. I would never to it another way. The Pompei/Vesuvius trip was amazing, and the guide Annamaria booked for us was fantastic. The next day we took a Mercdes van to Positano, and the drive was beautiful. Positano itself is a little small, so 2-3 hours is more than enough, but the sites too and from were amazing. During all this, I communicated with Annamaria (at all hours) via whatsapp, and she was very responsive, kind and helpful. I offered to send a tip, and she declined and said they do not accept them. Thanks to her, ou trip was well organized and terrific, I highly recommend them!
