Markus was a fabulous host and guide. For three hours he walked us ( at our pace) around Munich in a sensible circle. We met in Maidenplatz, visited about 4 churches, some beautiful back alleys, the main shopping street, the river front ( with plenty of locals enjoying it on the hot day) and brought us back in time for a 5pm show of the Glockenspiel and a 505 train.

A wonderful walking tour with Naveen, highlighting Munich and the city. We covered a lot of interesting areas in over 3 hours, embracing the history of the city. Our guide Brigid was fantastic! She’s originally from Ireland but has been in Germany for over twenty years and has a wealth of knowledge about Munich and its history. We saw many of the must see spots, but also took in a few off the beaten path sights. Highly recommended.

Our guide, Anna, was wonderful. We asked her to show us the highlights, any special things she wanted to share, and provide us with and understanding of the city's history and its current culture. What an amazing experience! Anna was our personal Munich historian sharing her experiences and knowledge for culture, food, and historical sites/events. We chose the 4 hour tour length, and it was a nice casual and relaxing pace. We ventured through areas around Viktualienmarket, through Old Town, and the English Garden. Anna made some great recommendations for food and we were able to try traditional German pastries, pizza, cheeses, and Apfelschorle.

My husband and I stayed at The Rosewood for three nights. We then extended our stay to ten nights because of our experience there. From our first check-in with Clara to our experiences with all of the staff, including the front-door staff, who were always kind and helpful, offering us water as we ventured out into the heat. We also appreciated the concierge staff. We first worked with Maximilian and later with the other staff. All of them were kind and helpful, always ready to make things easier and more pleasurable. We booked a World War II walking tour through Munich, and the concierge arranged it with a skilled tour guide. He was as incredible as the Rosewood staff. And let us not forget the room service staff. Every single member was helpful, polite, and personable - and the food was delicious. We felt very rested and uplifted by our stay. We were able to enjoy the city and return to a warm, welcoming room and environment throughout the hotel. I am not a seasoned traveler. It is only my second time in Europe. I felt truly thankful to have found The Rosewood. And let me also add that having a bathtub made a huge difference for me! As I adjusted to travel and the excitement of new sights, I took a bath at night to soothe my body and soul. Thank you! We will not forget the Rosewood and could never forget the personal exchanges with the staff, which made our days in Munich unforgettable!
