Itinerário
Saímos para a Golconda, localizada a 11 km da cidade de Hyderabad. O forte de Golconda é sem dúvida a maior fortaleza da Índia. Construído em 1143 dC como um forte de lama, foi fortificado entre os séculos XIV e XVII e serviu como o principal Palácio dos Sultões Bahmani e da dinastia Qutb Shahi. Nosso guia trará vida à história deste forte e como ele moldou o futuro de Hyderabad e seu povo.
Qutub Shahi Tombs foram erguidos em memória dos antigos reis de Golconda. O arco, colunas, minaretes de cúpula e galerias parecem exquisitos e estão cercados por jardins chamados Ibrahim Bagh. Segundo a lenda, essas tumbas foram veneradas durante o reinado dos reis Qutub Shahi e até mesmo os criminosos que se refugiaram aqui foram perdoados.
Visitamos Choumahalla, o Palácio dos Nizams que já foram as pessoas mais ricas do mundo. Algumas das seções notáveis deste palácio incluem uma fonte de água, carros antigos, esculturas intrincadas, lustres de vidro e o grande salão durbar. Durante o apogeu dos Nizams, cerca de 7.000 atendentes costumavam cuidar deste Palácio! Nosso guia lhe dará uma visão da vida pessoal e política de Nizams de Hyderabad. Nosso próximo destino é Charminar, um monumento simbólico da cidade de Hyderabad. Foi construído em 1591 por Mohammed Quli Qutb Shahi, o quinto sultão da dinastia Qutub Shahi para comemorar o fim de um ataque mortal da cidade. Our guide was the most knowledgeable guide we have ever had on a tour. He was friendly, and helpful. If I could give him six stars, I would. It was interesting to see the things on the tour. But what made it so interesting was all the information our guide gave us. We feel like we really got a feel for the history of Hyderabad for the last 500 years. Excellent!
My mom aunt and partner thoroughly enjoyed our day discovering Hyderabad with Jolly John! He gave us an authentic experience only a local could.
The guide, Matta, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and was very easy to understand. I would highly recommend this tour if you have limited time in Hyderabad.

Great way to see Hyderabad on a restricted timescale. Wonderful sights, but felt slightly hurried at times. Guide could have had better English, but was a good standard and informative. He and driver were very considerate and went out of their way to be helpful, showing us additional sites and photo opportunities. Felt very safe with them. Thanks to Azam and Karim for being very attentive and making us feel very welcomed to this fascinating city.

Picked up promptly at my Hotel by Azam, my tour guide, and our driver. Azam skilfully organised the itinerary so that we missed the crowds and made the most of the good weather ( rainy season at present) we saw all the major sights, Charminar, Hussain Sagar lake and Buddha Statue. Golconda Fort, Nizams Palace , Salar Jung Museum, Birla Mandi Temple. We stopped for lunch at 1pm, included in the price. Azam displayed good knowledge of the history of Hyderabad, and nothing was too much trouble. Would thoroughly recommend if you have limited time to see the major sites.

I was very fortunate to be able to go on this tour by Five Senses. We went to many fabulous places in an air conditioned minivan and had a wonderful authentic south Indian lunch in a nice restaurant. The whole experience lasted around 12 hours, and the guides and driver made sure we were all comfortable and having a pleasant experience. We started at the Goconda Fort and finished at the Charminar, and there was much to see in between.
