O Palácio Al Alam "Palácio da Bandeira" é um palácio localizado em Old Muscat, Omã. Foi usado como palácio cerimonial pelo sultão Qaboos bin Said Al Said. Uma das seis residências do sultão do monarca, tem uma história de mais de 200 anos, e foi construída sob a supervisão do Imam Sultan bin Ahmed, o 7º avô direto do sultão Qaboos.
Somente parada para fotos do Forte Al Jalali. Forte Al Jalali, ou Forte Ash Sharqiyah, é um forte no porto de Old Mascate, Omã. O forte foi construído pelos portugueses sob Filipe I de Portugal na década de 1580 para proteger o porto depois de Mascate ter sido saqueado duas vezes pelas forças otomanas. Caiu nas mãos das forças de Omã em 1650. Durante as guerras civis entre 1718 e 1747, o forte foi capturado duas vezes por persas que foram convidados para ajudar um dos imames rivais. O forte foi amplamente reconstruído posteriormente.

Our guide Hamood is warm, kind and extremely well-versed in Omani history and culture. He provided us a seamless Muscat tour; showed up early, waited patiently for us throughout, answered all our questions and remained professional & accommodating despite our tour overrunning. We took a half day tour with Saif through Muscat in the morning. We had a great time - Saif was a very knowledgable guide, very helpful, super friendly and very professional. Our guide prepared us a wonderful morning.We were not only allowed to get to know Muscat, but experienced Ottoman hospitality.So we tasted dates from our own garden and were invited to the best tea and coffee we ever had. We had a wonderful day exploring Muscat with Khalid AlRaqadi from Oman Landscape Tours. Khalid was punctual, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about each site we visited. We went to sultan qaboos grand mosque, muttrah souq, opera house and the official palace. Our tour guide Said Al kiyumi is very knowledgeable and introduce us with detailed facts about the attractions. Highly recommend.

Have had a few hours to kill so did this tour with my friends. We loved being shown around the beautiful city of Muscat by Mr Said Alkiyumi who knows the place like no other. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to avoid the summer heat and still see the best of Muscat.
