Situada no coração do Algarve, a pitoresca vila de Loulé exala um encanto que capta a essência do interior algarvio. Visitaremos o Mercado Municipal de Loulé, um dos melhores exemplos do estilo revivalista árabe - As ruas da Cidade Velha de Loulé com as suas casas tradicionais e onde verá o mestre do cobre a trabalhar a sua tradicional cataplana e outros artigos, as senhoras locais tecendo palmeira anã folhas de árvores, costurando e unindo cada galho, produzindo diversos objetos: bolsas, alcofas, cestos e objetos mais tradicionais ou inovadores. - A tradicional rua comercial de paralelepípedos
A arquitetura única de Olhão cria um panorama urbano particular. Uma das características mais icónicas de Olhão é a sua rede de casas de estilo cubista. Estas estruturas cubistas mostram o espírito artístico da cidade e a abordagem única da arquitetura. A primeira parada do nosso passeio é o mercado municipal. Situado à beira-mar, este edifício destaca-se entre as casas brancas com as suas paredes de tijolo vermelho e cúpulas verdes. Existem duas secções: uma com frutas e legumes e produtos secos locais, e outra exclusivamente dedicada a peixes e mariscos, como amêijoas, mexilhões e ostras. Caminharemos até ao centro da vila pelas ruas tradicionais onde encontrará edifícios tradicionais portugueses com os seus azulejos tradicionais e varandas de ferro e também verá as casas cubistas.

Bem-vindo a Faro, a capital da nossa deslumbrante região do Algarve! Nosso passeio levará você a uma viagem cativante por esta cidade encantadora, conhecida por sua história, belas paisagens e cultura vibrante. A nossa primeira paragem é no coração de Faro, a Cidade Velha. Visitaremos a Sé Catedral de Faro, uma estrutura religiosa gótica que oferece um olhar sobre o passado e vistas panorâmicas da cidade a partir do terraço da Torre Sineira. Como Faro também alberga o belo Parque Natural da Ria Formosa, uma área protegida com diversos ecossistemas, sapais e uma abundância de espécies de aves, do alto da Sé Catedral podemos admirar aquela bela vista. Nosso passeio nos levará então ao Arco da Vila, uma das antigas entradas da cidade. Durante a nossa visita a Faro, terá a oportunidade de passar pelas tradicionais ruas comerciais e passear pelas ruas empedradas.

My husband and I spent 4 wonderful days with Johnny. He arrived every morning at our hotel on time and always happy. He made sure we saw all the most important places but also allowed for us to customize our daily tours. As a local and having grown up in the Algarves,, Johnny's history is invaluable. We learned so very much. Whether you tour 1 day or 5 days, Johnny is who you need to tour with.

We had a fantastic private tour with João. Already the planning of the trip was a pleasure as João is very responsive, professional and truly gives everything for his guests. What a fabulous day Johnny lined for us! We chose a private tour due to our limited time in the Algarve region. We rate tours based on 1) communication, 2) itinerary, 3) information, 4) organization and 5) pricing. The communication was great. We were notified and reminded of the pick up time. Johnny asked what we wanted to do and see. He interjected several stops that proved to be interesting, so our itinerary included a visit to local artisans, including a coppersmith and a basket weaver. We visited the local markets in Loulé and in Olhão. The churches and cathedrals we visited were breathtaking! And all that time Johnny was explaining the history of, the customs, the traditions of each place. The pricing was agreed upon up front. At the end of the day, we felt we certainly got our money’s worth. To have a tour guide put so much enthusiasm and pride in the Algarve and Portugal made this tour very special and meaningful. Johnny Tours is one of the best company I have ever had the pleasure to tour with. Joao is very friendly, professional and kind. His transport is brand new and comfortable. Johnny organized a 23 person all day tour that took us to Loule , Tavira , the Quinta da Tor winery and a few other stops. It was very good value for our money , a good time was had by all and Johnny and his cohort Nelson are both affable and knowledgeable guides. We also had used Johnny’s tours to arrange transport for the majority of our group from Lisbon to the Rocha Brava resort and a smaller group transport from The resort to Seville, Spain I would highly recommend this company for any trips you’re considering
