Tour Privado a Stonehenge, Bath e The Cotswolds

Dave was great! We had an excellent day with him. He really knew his topics and explained everything we wanted to know. And, he navigated some horrible traffic with ease.

Absolutely outstanding private tour – Simon made it the highlight of our trip to England! We booked the Private Tour to Stonehenge, Bath and The Cotswolds from London and were lucky enough to have Simon as our guide. From the moment he picked us up, everything was seamless, personal, and genuinely special. Simon arrived right on time in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle and immediately put us at ease with his warm, friendly manner. He timed our arrival at Stonehenge perfectly so we got there before the big coach groups – it felt almost private as we walked around the stones. His knowledge of the site was incredible; he explained the latest archaeological findings and theories in a way that was fascinating without being overwhelming, and he answered every question with enthusiasm and insight. In Bath he guided us expertly through the Roman Baths and the beautiful Georgian streets, sharing stories that brought the history to life. Then came the Cotswolds – the honey-coloured villages (Castle Combe and Lacock were pure magic) looked like something out of a storybook. Simon knew exactly where to stop for the best photos and the most atmospheric spots, and he was flexible with the itinerary so we could linger where we wanted. What really set the day apart was Simon himself. He was not only deeply knowledgeable about history, architecture, and the countryside, but also great company – engaging, thoughtful, and attentive to what we were interested in. The whole day felt relaxed yet perfectly paced, never rushed. Lunch recommendations were spot-on too. This was so much better than any large group tour could ever be. If you’re considering this itinerary, book it and specifically ask for Simon if possible. We can’t recommend him (or this experience) highly enough – five stars doesn’t feel like enough!

We booked this tour directly with the company, and we had Oz as our tour guide. He was awesome! He knew the best spots to take photos at the locations and we actually got to Stonehenge first thing when they opened, so we beat all of the tour bus crowds. He helped us choose the right place for lunch and it ended up being delicious! He kept us moving at a good pace, not too long and not too short at the stops. He did a great job of explaining the history around the locations in an easy to understand manner that both of our teenagers grasped. Would 100% recommend this trip to anyone! Oz was amazing!

This was an extraordinary experience. I’ve taken tours all over the world, and this was the best organized and best executed trip I’ve ever been on. Stonehenge, Bath, and the Cotswolds are all absolute “must-dos,” and being able to see all three in one day was amazing. Oz studied history at university, and his knowledge and storytelling brought each stop to life. My family was engaged the entire day and never bored, which is no small feat. Best pick for traveling the British countryside! Our lovely guide Peter Iles made this trip the most enjoyable part of our time in London. His easy manner and deep command of the history of the region made for a very enriching experience. He explains Stonehenge as if a scholar and had an infectious enthusiasm for explaining the theories behind this monument. He made it feel like even though this monument is in Britain, it represents the ancient wisdom that is certainly in all our ancestors pasts. I wish we had more time here to arrange other trips with Peter as our guide!

Peter’s vast and in depth knowledge of the history of the region made for a very enriching experience - I cannot recommend highly enough!
