Na parte noroeste do Lago Sevan, em uma estreita península rochosa, está um dos exemplos mais proeminentes da arquitetura armênia medieval - o Mosteiro de Sevanavank. Foi fundada em 874 dC pela princesa Mariam.
Em 13 km a nordeste de Dilijan, em um lugar aconchegante, pode-se encontrar o complexo do mosteiro Haghartsin ("Dança das Águias"). Foi construído entre os séculos X e XIII e tem três igrejas.

We had a great time using this company to go around Sevan and Dilijan. We had great service and the driver always tried to make sure we were comfortable & kept asking if we wanted to stop anywhere along the way.
