Itinerário
O passeio histórico acontece na vibrante cidade velha, Pelourinho, Patrimônio da UNESCO desde 1985. O passeio começa na Praça Terreiro de Jesus, uma das 3 praças importantes da cidade velha. Há 3 igrejas, incluindo a Catedral de Salvador, e um edifício onde foi a primeira Escola de Medicina no Brasil. Recomendamos uma visita à Catedral e sua bela decoração e Sacristy (taxa de entrada não incluída). No caminho para a Praça Pelourinho, caminhamos pelas ruas pavimentadas, vendo artesanato, admirando as casas coloniais coloridas, sentindo o ritmo da cidade.
A Praça do Pelourinho é a principal praça da cidade velha e um dos marcos de Salvador. Lá vemos A Madre do Rosário da Igreja dos Negros, ou “Igreja do Azul”, um monumento muito importante da época da escravidão no Brasil. De lá também podemos avistar o outro lado da cidade velha, denominado Carmo, com vista de 3 Igrejas. Subimos até a Rua do Carmo, onde avistamos a Igreja N. Sr. dos Passos e sua famosa escada. Normalmente, esta praça é uma zona movimentada, com turistas e locais, onde se pode sentir o ritmo dos tambores da música Afro-Reggae única.
De lá subimos, sempre pelas ruas de paralelepípedos, até a 3ª. Praça principal, Praça da Cruz. Lá está localizada uma das mais impressionantes e ricas igrejas do Brasil, a Igreja e Convento de São Francisco, com seu exuberante interior barroco folheado a ouro, e um alpendre com os famosos azulejos portugueses pintados à mão. Recomendamos uma visita (entrada à volta de 1 Euro). Serão cerca de 20 minutos gratuitos nesta praça, para que você tenha tempo de tomar uma refrescante água de coco se quiser, e curtir a região.
No caminho para a Praça Tomé de Souza, passamos pela Praça da Sé com a antiga Casa do Bispo, o Miradouro da Sé onde se encontra a escultura Queda da Cruz e a vista da baía. Chegando à Praça Municipal, apreciamos um famoso ponto turístico de Salvador, a vista da Cidade Baixa e da Baía de Todos os Santos, pelo Elevador Lacerda. A Prefeitura, a Câmara Municipal, da época colonial, e o Palácio Rio Branco, do início do século 20, estão todos lá.
É uma praça famosa, especial em tempo de carnaval. Bela vista de All Saints Bay e área de hotel de luxo.

Ana was a great guide and very knowledgeable. She took us around and even helped us see things we hadn’t planned!
We had very good experience with our tour guide Carlos through the city of Salvador. He was very nice, competent and speaks good English. He showed us the best places in the city and gave us very interesting facts about the Brazilian history.
Salvador is vibrant and alive with music, culture, and history! This tour gave us an in-depth view of the city’s Afro-Brazilian roots, colonial history, and stunning coastline.
I am suspicious of commenting because I love Salvador, I have a very strong connection with the historical and cultural heritage of this city, I am passionate about Sacred Art and the Bahian capital presents a vast number of temples in short space, characteristic this originating from Portugal.
Ana met us at the cruise terminal and quickly began describing the history and culture of Salvador. We took the elevator up to Pelourinho to see several several interesting spots including a craft market and several churches. She did a great job of keeping us informed along the way. We found Ana's tour to be a great value, much better than the 40-person excursions offered by our cruise.
Salvador is a very interesting city and worth exploring with a guide if it’s your first visit. Gabriela will provide lots of tidbits, advice and recommendations.
It was wonderful! Not only that we saw the most beautiful places in Salvador, but also the dedication in telling stories and knowledge about the history of the city, were really great at Ana! We also visited corners that you can only see if you know exactly about Salvador and its special corners and the culture. So, a clear recommendation and always back!
You need to take this tour with Ana! She is so well informed of the city, culture, and food. Oh my goodness. We did not expect much from this port city on our cruise but Ana opened our eyes and taste buds to the amazing city Salvador Bahia is. She knows the locals. She grew up here. You will get everything and more with Ana at your side. Don’t miss the St. Francis church! Or the coconut milk with lime!!! Can’t say enough about Ana and the city! ENJOY!!!
A unique experience to meet Salvador through the hands of a Bahiana in love with the city. Super guide, with a lot of historical knowledge that she manages to connect to the local culture. It was two days with Ana, a panoramic tour and another walking in the historic center, we took great advantage, ending with a delicious moqueca in a restaurant recommended by her.
Ana is simply amazing!!! We were 3 young couples from Germany in Salvador and decided to hire her for a tour. She knows really a looot. Explained the history, the culture, the food and much more not only through words but by showing and tasting... We had a great time, got to know a lot of nice areas and places, tried several typical foods during the tour such as Tapioca and Acarajé, ate in a great local restaurant and drank the famous cravinho, all by suggestion from her... We also watched the famous Capoeira, a mix of dance and martial arts... I can only recommend her. Her german is excellent, as well as her english!!! Go for it and be sure if a great experience!!
