Titicaca é o lago navegável mais alto do mundo, localizado a 3856 metros acima do nível do mar. Suas margens e pequenas ilhas abrigam os aimarás e quéchuas, originários de culturas antigas que viviam nessa área muito antes de os incas dominarem. Aqui os visitantes podem explorar aldeias tradicionais onde o espanhol é a segunda língua e onde os mitos e crenças antigos persistem até hoje. Uma das peculiaridades do Lago Titicaca são as pequenas ilhas flutuantes habitadas por uma tribo chamada Uros. Nestas pequenas ilhas os visitantes são bem-vindos e podem até andar em um dos famosos barcos de junco.

Vamos buscá-lo em veículo particular em seu hotel em La Paz. Você será levado com guia profissional até Copacabana, desfrutando de paisagens naturais.

Chegada à linda vila de Copacabana para um lanche local. Fazemos um tour e visitamos o santuário e a Virgen Morena. Você terá a chance de conhecer pequenos artesãos regionais e aprender sobre a cultura local.

Em seguida, seguiremos para a Isla del Sol em um barco privado com um guia local. Percorreremos a "Grande Escadaria Inca" e também veremos a Fonte Sagrada, cujas águas subterrâneas, dizem, dariam juventude e felicidade eterna! Depois almoçaremos no restaurante arqueológico local e depois visitaremos a pequena feira de artesanato e locais ancestrais para aprendermos sobre os costumes que ainda permanecem dos ancestrais.

Fantastic private tour! Our guide Nathaniel was incredibly professional and very attentive, as was the driver, Diego, who with his skill behind the wheel had a trip of 10. We had the opportunity to visit the totora museum and acquire high quality craft products. The Copacabana tour is very beautiful and the Isla del Sol is spectacular. To eat we were offered typical regional food that was delicious! The flexibility of the tour allows you to adapt your needs and preferences to visit the places and feel comfortable during the tour. We will certainly repeat with the agency when we return to Bolivia:)
We went with Daniel (guide) and Johnny (driver). They both were very hospitable. The lake is beautiful. We were given indigenous lunch by the lake which was delish! The only drawback is it is a long drive from La Paz (4 hours each way).
If you are a short on time or don't want to make complicated bus and bike plans, this is a good option. This company would get 5 stars if they would buy there own bus. A driver picks you up and you wait at the regular old bus station for about an hour (there are breakfast restaurants in the terminal). Our group was about 1/3 of the bus and the biggest issue was that for 4 long hours going out, I was sitting in a tight seat next to a Bolivian mother with a FOUR year old in her lap! I had no idea which 1/3 of the bus was on my tour. If they don't buy their own bus, it would be nice to have the tour seats all together. The tour and guide were great. You get to see most of what you want to see, albeit very quickly. You get back to the bus station around 10PM in La Paz. Once I knew who was part of the tour, it was easy to strike up conversations.
