Siga a rota do vinho Stellenbosch e Franschhoek em todo o seu esplendor. Chegando em Stellenbosch, faremos um tour de orientação da cidade. Stellenbosch é a segunda cidade mais antiga da África do Sul e abriga mais de 200 vinícolas premiadas.
Nossa primeira parada para degustação de vinhos será no Delaire Graff Wine Estate. Conhecida como a joia de Cape Winelands, Delaire Graff não é famosa apenas por seus vinhos premiados, mas também por suas vistas espetaculares e oportunidades para fotos instantâneas no Instagram. Aqui você degustará 5 vinhos premium de uma escolha de 6 vinhos. Seu guia o ajudará a capturar as mais belas fotos do Instagram. Delaire Graff é uma luxuosa e moderna vinícola.
Da propriedade vinícola Delaire Graff, dirigiremos por 5 minutos até a propriedade vinícola Tokara. Aqui provaremos até 4 Vinhos Premium cuidadosamente selecionados. Tokara é uma luxuosa e moderna propriedade vinícola.
Em seguida, dirigimos por 20 minutos até Delheim Wine Estate. Desfrutaremos de um almoço de prato principal com degustação de vinhos premium no Delheim Garden Restaurant com vista para os jardins verdejantes. Escolha o prato principal entre uma seleção de carnes, aves, peixes ou opções vegetarianas. O passeio prossegue com uma parada para degustação de vinhos em um dos destinos de degustação de vinhos mais populares em Cape Winelands, conhecido como Fairview Wine Estate. Aqui degustaremos até 6 tipos de vinhos harmonizados com 6 tipos de queijos cuidadosamente selecionados, variando entre cultivares tintos e brancos.
Uma parada opcional será oferecida em frente ao Drakenstein Correctional Center (antiga Prisão Victor Verster) para tirar uma foto com o monumento a Nelson Mandela.

The wine in Stellenbosch is spectacular and the wineries are all very picturesque. On this tour the guide took us to each winery and agreed a pick up time. Everything was clear and well communicated.

This tour did not meet the expectations set by the description of a luxury wine tour. When you book and pay for a wine tour, you expect a knowledgeable guide who can speak intelligently about the wines — varietals, winemaking techniques, terroir, and tasting characteristics. Instead, we received a general history lesson about the region. While history has its place, that is not what we signed up for. We visited three wineries (by choice), and it’s difficult to see how more could reasonably be included. In reality, this felt like hiring a driver for the day rather than participating in a professionally curated wine experience. We could have arranged private transportation ourselves, chosen our own wineries, and likely received better value. The advertised “wine and cheese pairing” was also misrepresented. A true pairing is intentional — specific wines matched with specific cheeses to enhance both. What we received appeared to be a random selection, with no explanation or thoughtful curation. Given the cost, we expected expertise, structure, and authenticity. What was delivered did not justify the premium price. The only thing luxury about it was how much it cost. Also, I don’t blame the driver I blame the person profiting from this hack of a tour.

Regarding the winery visits, our intention is always to create a relaxed and well-paced day. However, the value of a luxury experience must come from expertise, structure, and intentional curation — not simply logistics. If that depth and structure were not delivered, we take that concern seriously. We also appreciate your comments about the wine and cheese pairing. A true pairing should be deliberate and clearly explained, highlighting how specific wines and cheeses complement one another. If what was presented lacked intention or explanation, that falls short of the standard we aim to uphold. We regret that the experience did not justify the premium price in your view. Your feedback is important and will be used to carefully evaluate and improve how this tour is presented and delivered moving forward.

The tour guide Gordon was on time, very knowledgeable and responsive to our needs. The wine facilities visited were a good choice with a wide variety of products, and the personnel were all extremely knowledgeable of their wines. We had a great day trying 20 wines in 4 different vineyards, with time to wander around Stellenbosch and a lunch stop in Franschhoek. Superb views and Morne our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Would certainly recommend if you want to dip into the local wines and have someone else drive!
