Oportunidade única de conhecer a história e os vestígios dos Borgias em Valência através do centro histórico da cidade, incluindo uma visita à Catedral e ao Cálice Sagrado. Calixto III e Alejandro VI, os únicos Papas espanhóis até hoje, onde a lenda negra se mistura com a realidade.

Itinerário
Começaremos o percurso Borgia na Plaza Manises em frente ao palácio da Generalitat Valenciana fazendo uma introdução sobre os dois papas desta família valenciana: Calixto III e Alejandro VI.
Pararemos em frente à fachada original desta igreja para explicar detalhes da vida e de Alfonso de Borgia, que foi Papa com o nome de Calixto III.
Visitaremos todo o interior da Catedral de Valência, descrevendo as obras ligadas aos Bórgias e ao famoso Santo Cálice. No Museu veremos a grandiosa ostensória processional.
No interior da Basílica está a padroeira de Valência: a Virgen de los Desamparados e os seus impressionantes frescos barrocos do pintor Antonio Palomino do início do século XVIII.
Terminaremos na Plaza de San Lorenzo onde está localizado o Palácio Borgia e atual sede das Cortes Valencianas. Lá explicaremos o resultado final da família.
