Ashrap was an ideal guide. He explained the different tourist sites, making it interesting for one to want to visit in detail. He drove us around to the Hassan 2 Mosque, and patiently waited for us to complete the tour. He then drove us to Rick’s Cafe, the United Nation’s plaza, Sacred Hear Cathedral, the Center Mall and the Morocco Mall, and ended up at the Twin Towers. He even offered to take photos of us as keepsakes of Casablanca. I highly recommend him, if you are fortunate enough to get him.

Absolute rip-off. Advertised as a 4-hour tour, in a van, with water. Although our tour guide was courteous, the entire "tour" lasted just a little over an hour (which consisted basically of a drive around Casablanca), was conducted in a sh*#ty taxi, and the tour guide expected a tip on top of the $80 paid to Viator to book this trip. We were also encouraged to buy some Moroccan tea for which we paid 22 Euros (shame on us!). In all, withthe booking fee, tip which we did add (again shame on us) and tea purchase, we ended up paying about $135 for this one-hour experience overall. We could have paid about $50 to just get a taxi for an hour to do the same tour (based on what other folks on our cruise told us). Stay away--an absolute rip-off!

Likewise, the vehicle provided must correspond to what is described in the booking confirmation. If the service was not delivered as advertised, this does not meet our operational standards. Tipping is always optional and at the sole discretion of the guest. It should never be expected or implied. Regarding purchases during the tour, guests are free to accept or decline any recommendations. We do not require or obligate any shopping stops. We have initiated a full internal review of the driver assignment, vehicle dispatch, and tour duration records for the date concerned. If discrepancies are confirmed, corrective action will be taken immediately. We understand your frustration regarding value and transparency, and we regret that your experience did not align with the expectations set by our listing.

The tour was just okay. Most of the tour consisted of going to the mosque. He drops you off in a very chaotic line of people waiting to get tickets for the mosque. Not very organized at all and very stressful. I would suggest going instead with a tour that gets advance tickets. We knew this did not provide tickets but wasn’t expecting the mess to get in line. And you need tickets just to walk around the area or they will keep you back behind a bearer. We didn’t stop at the Old Medina or Rick’s Cafe as noted on the description. All in all just okay. Driver was very friendly though.

Hamouda was great. He spoke English well and was very knowledgeable. He was friendly and chatted about things we passed. Stopped for photos and took us to all the interesting sights in Casablanca. Safe driver and a clean car. Would highly recommend.

I had to organise transport for eight of us on a golf trip to Casablanca, and after contacting a bunch of different companies, I’m so glad I went with Shuttle Layovers. Their van was by far the best I was shown — a really comfortable, high-spec Mercedes with air-con, automatic doors, phone chargers and even a portable phone. And the price was excellent too. Our plans changed at the last minute — we had to adjust the day and route so we could stop at the airport to pick up our golf clubs that hadn’t made our flight — and the company couldn’t have been more accommodating. Communication was brilliant from start to finish. The driver was lovely, drove safely, and the guide was friendly, knowledgeable and made sure we saw all the main sights. He even took loads of great photos for us, which was a nice touch. It’s always a bit stressful organising things for a group, but Shuttle Layovers made everything so easy. I honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough — five-star service all the way.
