In June 2026 we went on a tour-excursion to Sheki Azerbaijan, accompanied by tour guide Oguz. The city itself is a true fairy tale: cozy streets, stunning Palace of Shekin Khans, famous caravanserais and incredibly delicious pakhlava. But the main jewel of this tour was our tour guide. His story was not just a recapitulation of facts, but a real immersion in the history and culture of the province. He managed to enthrall us with his enthusiasm and deep knowledge, which made us see Shecky through completely different eyes.
