This was exactly what we were looking for! Our family of 6 (4 adult kids) had the perfect trip. We asked to go to a private beach….they obliged. Chairs, towels, drinks, snacks, snorkel gear….everything was included. Captain JD and Bubba were two perfect guys for this experience. Both retired from the US Coast Guard and were very knowledgeable about everything in the area and safety. Their personalities were laid back and easy going. GREAT GUYS!!! We will be back for another trip when we return! Thanks guys!!!
Captain JD and Bubba took very good care of us!! We learned a lot about the area. We saw a manatee on our first island—about 15 feet or so from where we were!! We also saw a spider crab. This was a highlight of our trip and we’d definitely do again!!

I sailed with Capt JD when he was the Chief Engineer of USCGC KODIAK ISLAND. He kept the screws turning throughout the Bahamas, Caribbean, Florida Straits and especially, the GULF of AMERICA!. Furthermore, Capt JD's First Mate, Bubba, is also a retired Master Chief; however, Bubba is a Boatswain's Mate. As a jack-of-all-trades, he will attend to all your needs while sharing historical/local knowledge with light-hearted humor. Between the two of them, you can be assured to have a safe, fun and informative tour of Tampa Bay and her surrounding waters and islands. My Cousins, visiting from NC, and my Mom all had a wonderful and memorable tour.

We had such a a great time out on the water with Jeff. It was the perfect way to have the boating, shelling, fishing and snorkeling experience without having to own/bring all the stuff. Jeff was so great at communicating and working with us when he thought the weather would put a damper on things and super flexible. We would 100% recommend St. Pete Eco Tours to everyone.

Overall, had a great time! Went Fishing and snorkeling, and chilled on the beach. They also brought snacks and music very generously.
