Durante este passeio, você descobrirá a magia dos castelos portugueses do período medieval ao romantismo. Sintra é o ponto de partida deste passeio. Património Mundial da UNESCO, a capital do romantismo, a apenas 25 km de Lisboa, Sintra alberga os palácios de verão da família real desde o século XIV. Terá oportunidade de visitar um destes Palácios Reais de Sintra. Se gosta de doces, deve provar os pastéis tradicionais. Cem km a norte de Sintra, o nosso passeio chegará a Óbidos, uma encantadora vila medieval dentro de muralhas de defesa. Aqui poderá saborear o licor típico da região, a “Ginja”, servido em taça de chocolate. Óbidos é o melhor exemplo de cidades medievais em Portugal. À medida que entramos nas suas paredes, recuamos no tempo, percorrendo os antigos becos de pedra, deparando-nos com casas com as suas fachadas seculares pintadas de branco, o comércio sempre activo e as inúmeras igrejas construídas ao longo dos séculos.

Sintra é sem dúvida um dos locais mais extraordinários de Portugal. O seu microclima transforma esta pequena vila situada nas encostas da Serra de Sintra e junto ao Atlântico numa grande atracção para os visitantes que ali se deslocam para admirar os seus famosos castelos e palácios ou simplesmente saborear a tradicional comida, pastelaria e doçaria . E não podemos esquecer as lojas de souvenirs que vendem itens típicos locais. Faremos uma paragem no centro histórico onde terá tempo para provar os famosos “travesseiros” e “queijadas” na Pastelaria Piriquita e explorar as ruelas da vila mais romântica de Portugal. Visite um destes palácios: Palácio Nacional de Sintra, Palácio Nacional da Pena, Quinta da Regaleira, Palácio de Monserrate. (Opcional - aplicam-se taxas de entrada)
A vila de Óbidos é uma antiga cidade romana que continuou a florescer mesmo após a queda do império devido à enorme atividade comercial através do porto marítimo. Durante a Idade Média, foi erguida uma muralha à sua volta, após ter sido conquistada pelo primeiro rei de Portugal, Afonso I. Óbidos é o melhor exemplo de vila medieval em Portugal. Recuamos no tempo ao percorrer esta vila murada, com as suas estreitas vielas em calçada portuguesa, casas com fachadas seculares pintadas de branco, uma animada zona comercial e várias igrejas que foram construídas ao longo dos séculos. Temos a sensação das batalhas travadas aqui a cada metro quadrado de terreno. Não sairemos sem provar a famosa “Ginga de Óbidos”, um licor doce local servido em uma pequena xícara de chocolate.

We had a wonderful tour with Rodrigo as our guide. Six friends on vacation for our 40th birthdays. It was a rainy day but he designed the tour so that we got the best weather and he was flexible with where we wanted to go. We didn’t feel rushed and still got to see so much. Lots of laughs and the perfect balance of giving us facts and history but still letting us do our own thing. A memorable trip, would recommend!

We had a great day trip to Obidos and then Sintra. Vasco from Premiere Tours was our guide and driver. He picked us up at our hotel and we set out for Obidos. Along the way, he did a great job of sharing information about life in Portugal, the history of the area and where we were going.We arrived in Obidos before it got crowded and could really enjoy the village while it was still quiet. Vasco showed us the castle and how to walk to the ledge at the top of the castle wall. He then showed us around town and then took us to a shop where authentic, ginja is made. That was a highlight, and we bought some ginja to take home. After Obidos, we drove on to Sintra. We walked around the town and then took a tour of the Pena Palace. The palace was very interesting. There’s a lot to see in Sintra, but we only had time for a couple of places. We returned to Lisbon later that day. The day was very nice.

We are very seasoned travelers visiting over 70 countries. We travel frequently with another couple and are extremely discrete and particular about our guides and our drivers. After a great deal of research we chose Premiere Tours due to their outstanding recognition as best tour company in Portugal as well as a phone call I made to the owner to insure we were getting not only a qualified driver but an outstanding English speaking driver. We had very specific things we wanted to see and hired Premier Tours for a customized 9 hour tour. Our driver was a certified Official Portuguese certified guide and he was an amazing driver. We hired a Mercedes Van and the car was clean and comfortable. Our guide spent the entire day informing us of so many amazing fact and showed us many “unknown” secrets of Portugal. We had an amazing day. I would highly recommend Premier Tours without any reservations. You will be thrilled if you are lucky enough to have the experience we had during our amazing day together.

Renato was our private tour guide to Sintra and Obidus. He was wonderful, very personable,. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of history of the places we visited and answered all of our questions. We had heard that the Pena Palace is usually very crowded. When we were there it was very foggy. We didn't have any view from the Palace, but we also were able to get in without having to stand in line forever. This tour does not give much time to explore the town of Sintra, but with the bad weather it didn't matter to us. Renato was very accommodating, a very good driver. The van was very comfortable for the five of us,
