Fátima é um dos maiores centros de peregrinação do mundo, construído em torno do local onde, em 1917, a Virgem Maria apareceu a três pastores. Depois de visitar a Basílica onde estão sepultados os três videntes, a capela das aparições e a moderna Igreja da Santíssima Trindade, teremos tempo livre para orações ou para assistir a uma festa (opcional). Em seguida, o passeio segue para Valinhos, a pequena aldeia onde nasceram os três jovens pastores, e faremos uma visita às suas casas, tendo a oportunidade de ver como eram as casas da região no início do século XX. Sinta - Patrimônio Mundial da UNESCO, foi residência de verão da família real desde o século XIV. O microclima de Sintra, onde predomina a humidade, ajudou a exuberante vegetação a florescer. Freqüentemente, era elogiado por poetas românticos do século XIX, como Lord Byron. Terá oportunidade de visitar um dos vários Palácios de Sintra neste passeio e provar a doçaria tradicional.

O famoso Santuário Mariano de Fátima é sem dúvida um dos mais importantes centros de peregrinação do mundo. Milhões de pessoas vêm aqui anualmente para prestar homenagem aos três pastorinhos que testemunharam as aparições da Virgem Maria nos campos da “Cova da Iria”. Tempo livre para assistir à missa (opcional), visita à Capela das Aparições onde poderá ver a imagem da Virgem Maria. Visitaremos também a Basílica onde podemos encontrar os túmulos de Lúcia, Jacinta e Francisco (os dois últimos foram canonizados pelo Papa Francisco em maio de 2017, tornando-se assim os santos mais jovens da Igreja Católica). Continuando, visitaremos a moderna igreja da Santíssima Trindade de Fátima, com capacidade para 8.633 pessoas e uma área de 40.000 metros quadrados. A igreja foi projetada e projetada pelo arquiteto grego Alexandros Tombazis. Tempo permitido para compras religiosas (opcional).

Sintra é sem dúvida um dos locais mais extraordinários de Portugal. O seu microclima transforma esta pequena vila situada nas encostas da serra “Serra de Sintra” junto ao Atlântico, numa grande atracção para os visitantes que ali vão para admirar os seus famosos castelos e palácios ou simplesmente saborear a tradicional comida, pastelaria e doçaria . E não podemos esquecer as lojas de souvenirs que vendem itens típicos locais. Faremos uma paragem no centro histórico onde terá tempo para provar os famosos “travesseiros” e “queijadas” da Pastelaria Piriquita e explorar as ruelas da vila mais romântica de Portugal. Visite um destes palácios: Palácio Nacional de Sintra, Palácio Nacional da Pena, Quinta da Regaleira, Palácio de Monserrate. (visita opcional - taxa de entrada)

Viator communication with us was professional from the time we booked our tour the whole way through. The day before our tour Viator reconfirmed our booking and gave us the driver/guide name, time, place and vehicle information for pick up. Rod arrived early and was fantastic and really worked hard to ensure our entire day was memorable and he even added another venue he thought we would enjoy while in Portugal.
