Durante este dia, você passará pela história com a liderança profissional do seu guia. Nossa jornada através do tempo começará no período romano, quando Nis deu ao mundo um grande homem - o imperador romano Constantino, o Grande. Depois, continuaremos pela Idade Média e pelo período do domínio otomano que deixou construções como a Fortaleza de Nis e a Torre da Caveira - um símbolo da luta pela liberdade e independência dos otomanos. No final, vamos prestar atenção à história moderna e ao período de ocupação nazista da antiga Iugoslávia, visitando o campo de concentração nazista. Claro que depois de todas as impressões que você recebe, será hora de descansar um pouco. Você terá a chance de provar a famosa culinária sérvia - uma das mais deliciosas dos Bálcãs.

Seu guia irá buscá-lo em seu alojamento em Sófia às 08h30. Após aproximadamente 2 horas de carro, chegaremos à nossa primeira vista - o parque arqueológico de Medijana, que é uma residência imperial romana, hoje fechada devido à reforma.
Nossa próxima parada será a Torre da Caveira, também conhecida como Cale kula. A torre é agora um museu dedicado aos búlgaros e sérvios que participaram da revolta contra o Império Otomano. Foi construído a partir dos turcos e construído com os crânios das rebeliões mortas. A idéia desse ato era avisar os outros o que acontecerá se eles se revoltarem novamente.
Campo de Concentração Nazista - construído em 1941 e famoso pela fuga bem-sucedida dos prisioneiros no início de 1942. O campo está perfeitamente preservado e nunca foi danificado.
Depois disso, continuaremos para a cidade velha, onde visitaremos a Fortaleza Nis. Lá veremos ruínas do antigo Nisus e do período otomano posterior. Caminharemos e depois apreciaremos a comida tradicional local.

This was my second trip with this company and it was excellent! I forgot the name of the guide (trip was done on 14 July 2026), but he did such an excellent job! Pick up was on time, the van was comfortable, and toilet breaks were scheduled as needed. The guide did a great job explaining all sites visited that include Constantine’s Villa, Skull Tower, one concentration camp, Nis Fortress, and the city center. Thank you for a great trip!
It was an excellent day learning about some history of Nis. It was a long day of driving, but very with it.

Our guided tour to Nis with Tuni was fantastic! The small group size of just five guests and comfortable, air-conditioned transportation made for a relaxed journey. Tuni was friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring a hassle-free border crossing and comfort stops along the way. We toured the Ottoman Skull Tower, Constantine’s Mediana ruins, and the former Nazi concentration camp, followed by a great walking tour and free time to explore Nis. A highly recommended day trip for history lovers!
Nis is interesting and I enjoyed this tour. Our guide Lubo was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. After a previous accident, I'm not a fan of motorways and the speed limits in Bulgaria are higher than what I'm used to but Lubo was a great driver and I felt very safe in his car. We had long queues at the borders but he kept us in good spirits. I would avoid this tour during the summer holidays as I believe the border queues are rediculous.

This was a great day trip and definitely worth doing if you want to get out of Sofia and see something completely different. Our day started with a bit of unexpected circumstances when our driver had a medical emergency. Thankfully, the company handled the situation incredibly well. They made sure their driver received the help he needed and quickly arranged another driver so our trip could continue with very little delay. We really appreciated how professional and caring they were. Once we arrived, everything was exactly as described. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and did a great job explaining the history and interesting facts along the way. He even gave us recommendations for places to eat, which was a nice bonus. It's a long day, but the scenery and experience make it absolutely worth it. We'd definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get a taste of Serbia while in Sofia!
