Tour de Loch Ness, Highlands Escoceses, Glencoe e Pitlochry

Great day, so many beautiful and scenic stops. Loch Ness boat cruise highly recommended. The driver was engaging, very knowledgeable and entertaining and kept us on time so it was a fun well-paced full day.

Overall, this was a cost efficient way to cover a lot of ground outside of the city in one day. With that said, I wish there was more clarity regarding the amount of time spent in the bus. Some of the stops felt pretty rushed and most of the day was spent driving. My group of 4 arrived at the pick up spot at the planned meeting time according to the itinerary, and the bus was already so full, none of us could sit together (we weren’t permitted to change seats throughout the day either). Like I said, we saw some beautiful sights and it was really cool to go to Loch Ness, but I wouldn’t buy a ticket for this specific tour again

12 hours on a bus with very narrow seats and very little leg room was tough. I’m a very fit 77 year old, and I did not enjoy the bus ride. What I did enjoy was the trip agenda, the stops, the beauty of the Highlands, the Loch Ness cruise, the driver’s commentary and stories, the driver’s effort to accommodate, even when having to deal with a very inconsiderate person who held up the bus to buy fish and chips and then stink up the bus. That action cause a ripple effect in the schedule, turning a 12-hour trip into a 14-hour trip. I will now only book trips that are fewer than 4 hours in length.

It is a long day but worth it, if you want to experience the Highlands. Ben, our driver and guide, was exceptional. Great stories, lots of history and bad jokes made it an enjoyable trip.

I have never been to one of these types of tours, but I was honestly very pleasantly surprised - I thought it might be too long, but it actually flew by. It was very well organised, with proper breaks and stops that break up the travel time. They're also very considerate and offer comfort stops every certain amount of time; there are also always options to buy food on almost every stop. Our bus (Daisy) was great, very clean and comfortable, and our driver/guide Jason H (the H's for Handsome ;D) was really friendly, he offered a lot of commentary but also knew when to give people breaks and let the music play, so it was very good. At no point did it feel like too much information, so I think he did a great job, all whilst driving a coach on those roads, which is no small feat! Overall a great experience, that I can 100% recommend :)

Wonderful tour. Would give 4.5 stars. It was packed. I think a better cow stop would be better as there were only 3 cows and only 2 came by and we had just 10 minutes. Most of the stops were rushed and getting a bathroom break and food or water took up the bulk of the time. Great Loch Ness stop. It was a great way to see countryside with limited time in Scotland. Would have liked a better Kelpie drive by. If you were in the right side of the bus you didnt see them. Our tour guide Ryan was amazing though. So fun!

This tour was a great way to end my last day in Edinburgh. Kudos to our driver; he was fun, kept us safe, and his enthusiasm was a highlight of the day. It was a nice and sunny day, which was ideal for sightseeing and taking photos on a tour like this. I've always wanted to see Loch Ness, and this was a great way to experience it. Overall, I had a lot of fun on this tour. I enjoyed getting to know some of the people on the bus; they all seemed to enjoy the tour as well, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a day of fun and adventure!

I booked the Loch Ness tour for myself, my partner, and four of my family members, all adults - we didn't realize just how much of it was going to be driving when we initially booked it, but the entire country of Scotland is absolutely gorgeous, so if you enjoy seeing breathtaking landscapes, this is definitely a wonderful option. With that being said, if you have issues sitting for extended periods of time, traveling up to Loch Ness may not be the best option for you. Our tour guide, Brian Smith, was an absolute delight - he shared hilarious personal stories as well as historical facts about Scotland, and you could immediately tell he genuinely takes pride in his country as well as being Scottish. There was a brief stop to meet three Highland Coos (definitely a personal highlight for all of us), a more-than-reasonable amount of bathroom breaks along the way, and we opted to do the Loch Ness boat ride when we arrived at our destination. Unfortunately, the weather didn't quite cooperate - it was fairly chilly and ultimately rained the majority of the time, but that was obviously outside of anyone's control, and we were still able to see some truly stunning views of the Loch. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys seeing landscapes and is ok with a fair amount of driving.

This was a very long day, but you basically get to see all of the Scottish Highlands and the stops were well spaced. Our guide, Bob, was fantastic! We got to feed the hairy coos, which was a surprise. I loved doing the cruise option to Urkhart Castle! Definitely worth it, even in the rain (we came prepared and were glad we did). Definitely recommend packing snacks!! We brought some, but not enough. There’s so much to see, you don’t want to waste time waiting in line for food or trying to find food. You’ll do enough of that for the toilets.
