Esteja preparado para um dia longo, mas incrível!
Nosso primeiro destino de hoje é Budva em Montenegro, antes de chegar lá faremos uma parada perto de Sveti Stefan, historicamente uma vila de pescadores em uma pequena ilha perto da costa. No entanto, hoje em dia não é mais possível visitar a ilha, pois ela se transformou em um exclusivo resort residencial. Mesmo estando na costa, Sveti Stefan é um colírio para os olhos – vale uma foto.
Seguiremos em direção a Budva, um destino turístico popular, famoso por suas praias, natureza deslumbrante e edifícios antigos característicos. A cidade é separada entre uma parte velha e nova. Por um lado, em New Budva, existem muitos edifícios modernos, escritórios, shoppings, restaurantes e bares.
Old Budva, há o centro histórico e muitos pontos turísticos para visitar, como a igreja de St. Ivan, a pequena igreja de St. Mary e os esplendores medievais da cidade velha, que visitaremos neste passeio.
Nosso segundo destino de hoje é Kotor, patrimônio mundial da UNESCO. A cidade é um labirinto de ruas estreitas de paralelepípedos que cruzam a cidade velha. A intenção era confundir os intrusos que vinham saquear a vila, o que hoje caracteriza a cidade. Muitos dos antigos edifícios e igrejas têm pequenas placas com as datas de construção e uso original.
Visitaremos a igreja de São Lucas que tem um grande significado para os locais porque representa a unidade para eles.

The trip was advertised as an 8 to 10 hour tour. First, the actual time was 15 hours. Second, it wasn't a "tour". We just had a "driver"..
Montenegro's coastline is stunning and the old towns in both stops are incredible. Our driver and guide, Klodian was perfect for this very long day over bumpy roads. He tended to our needs and wants on this trip. He was very informative but not overwhelming us with too much information. He is an excellent driver and we felt safe with him. We enjoyed his company. Understand that this is a very long, and bumpy road trip as they are working on roadways. But if you want a chance to visit another country without the drive, then this is the way to go.
Klondike is an excellent guide who did not overload us with information. All of our needs were met and he checked our comfort often. He catered the trip to our wishes and is an extremely safe driver! Montenegro's coastline is beautiful. The old cities in both stops are unbeatable. Be prepared for a long ride, road construction as they build a new road. But enjoy Klodi's company for the long day.
Such a fabulous day trip from Tirana. Budva and Kotor are stunning. Endri was an excellent driver and guide, and a genuinely lovely person to spend time with. It was really interesting to chat with Endri about life in Albania and his own experiences. Endri also went out of his way to accommodate my requests. Based on my experience, I’d thoroughly recommend Endri as well as Choose Balkans as a company - they responded quickly and arrived promptly. A lovely lady from Choose Balkans came with Endri to welcome me which was a nice extra detail; I’m not sure if that was just because I was a solo female traveller but it was a very kind gesture.
We recently took a private day trip from Albania to Montenegro , and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. My boyfriend and I loved every moment of it. A huge part of what made the trip so special was our driver and tour guide, Endri. He was incredibly helpful, informative, and professional, while also being friendly and great fun to spend the day with. He shared so much interesting knowledge about both Albania and Montenegro, which really added depth to the experience. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, he was very accommodating and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves at all times. We would highly recommend this tour company, and especially Endri as a guide. He truly made the day unforgettable!
