It was a great way to see the city. Our guide Jose was a scholar of history. He took us to the top landmarks during our 7 hour tour. Jose made the history come alive with stories he shared. He introduced us to the delicious pasteis de Belem custard tarts when we stopped for coffee! We have many photos and a very memorable time. We were so fortunate to spend our excursion day with him.
Jose is a great asset to our company. He's part of the best driver-guiding team in the country and Premiere Tours is so proud of all of them.
Trip across the April 25th Bridge and view of the City from the southern shore, the church of Jerónimos, the pastels of Belém, the Maritime Museum were all memorable. Our guide was very informative and interesting. His sharing of scholarly knowledge acquired through his research for his doctoral thesis was fascinating and also memorable.
Dear Karen, Thank you for your review of the Lisbon Private Day Tour. All Premiere Tours driver-guides are fully certified by the Portuguese Tourism Bureau and Jose your assigned driver-guide is no exception. This is the kind of service that drove our company to the award of Best Private Tour Company in Portugal for 2023 by the Travel and Hospitality Awards Committee.
Our family recently enjoyed a private day tour of Lisbon with Premiere Tours, and it was an experience we will cherish forever! From the initial booking process to the tour itself, everything was seamless and well-organized, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Jorge, the general manager, and our wonderful driver-guide, José. Booking our tour was a breeze. Jorge was incredibly responsive and attentive to our needs, ensuring that our family of four, including our two young children, would have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. His professionalism and attention to detail set the tone for a perfect day ahead. On the day of the tour, José greeted us with a warm smile at our hotel. His friendly demeanor immediately put us at ease, and our children instantly took a liking to him. The van was spotless and spacious, equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable journey. We started our adventure in the historic district of Alfama. José's deep knowledge of Lisbon's history and culture was evident as he shared captivating stories and fun facts about the area. He engaged our children with tales of knights and explorers, making the history come alive for them. We wandered through the narrow, winding streets, feeling like we had stepped back in time. Next, we headed to the iconic Belém district. José's expert guidance allowed us to fully appreciate the grandeur of the Belém Tower and the Jerónimos Monastery. He even took us to a local pastry shop to try the famous Pastéis de Belém, which was a highlight for our kids. The smile on their faces as they savored the delicious pastries was priceless! José's driving was smooth and careful, making the day trip relaxing for all of us. He took us to some of Lisbon's best viewpoints, where we could take in the stunning vistas and snap some beautiful family photos. The Miradouro da Senhora do Monte provided a breathtaking panorama of the city, and José's timing was perfect, allowing us to avoid the crowds. Premiere Tours and their team, especially Jorge and José, exceeded our expectations in every way. Their dedication to providing a personalized and memorable experience was evident throughout the tour. We left Lisbon with hearts full of joy and countless memories, all thanks to their exceptional service. For families looking to explore Lisbon in a relaxed, fun, and insightful way, we highly recommend Premiere Tours. Thank you, Jorge and José, for making our family trip to Lisbon so unforgettable. We can't wait to return and explore more of Portugal with you!
Ana, Thank you so much for your extensive review. We're looking forward to be at your service again.
Good trip Experienced guide, Could be better if we had seen the inside of the monastery. Comfortable car
Dear Khaja, The visit inside the monastery is always up to the client to decide. If you wanted to visit inside all you had to do was telling the driver-guide about it. Kind regards,
This comprehensive tour of Lisbon shows you all the city's main highlights. My driver-guide, Jorge, was highly welcoming and demonstrated his extensive historical and cultural knowledge with a lightness of touch. The pace of the tour was perfect, combining walking and free time so that I could explore places I wanted to visit in more detail. The tour's highlight was spending time with Jorge exploring the Jeronimos Monastery and adjacent Santa Maria Church. I would have missed so much in both places if I had gone alone. This is the perfect one day tour of Lisbon.
Thank you so much Glen. Hope to see you soon, this time with your family, to enjoy more of Portugal.
Amazing day spent with our guide, Sandra. In a day we visited all the sites we had planned and Sandra was a wealth of information about those sites and Lisbon in general. A very proud Portuguese citizen. Highly recommend this company for tours you may be planning.
Thank you so much for your review Dennis.

Thank you Mrs. & Mr. Wilkinson for electing Premiere Tours your private tour company in Portugal/Spain.
This tour was far from being Premiere!! Showed up in a 1990s Mercedes and the aircon was barely working when we got going. As the day heated up, the aircon stopped all together. Had to drive around with the windows down. Too hot for that. Asked the driver to abandon the tour after four hours of stinking heat. Rang the office and the only solution offered was to get another car and start again. Way too hot for that now. Management flipped the blame to the customer. That I should have rung him and reported it. Thought that was the drivers job as the coolant light came on in the first hour. And he did report it. Ruined one of our last days in Lisbon! Do not book with these guys. All about keeping the cash!!
Every so often, unfortunately, we come across some people that will do and say anything to get a free ride. People are not as dumb as you think they are Mr. DougP and they can judge for the overwhelming amount of 5 stars rating that Premiere Tours proudly has gotten since it started in this business 29 years ago. Your lies do not count. I hope you will develop a conscience some day.
I just wanted to say that we had two wonderful, insightful and educational tours with Premiere. We had a tour in Porto and the guide was very educated, spoke wonderful English and took us to everything we needed to see in Porto. It was superb. Our second tour was in Lisbon with Jorge. He was very educated on everything about Portugal. No stone was left unturned. He was answered all of our questions and brought us to all of the important places. He was amazing and made our day in Lisbon one not to soon forget. I can't say enough wonderful things about Premiere and I would highly recommend them and use them again when I return to Portgual.
Thank you so much Cheryl for electing Premiere Tours as your private tour company in Portugal.
