Nice, new place, and good guide, but very expensive ift what you get of samples, only 1 blended whisky and 1 little beer.
A nice Tour through the modern brewery/destillery. I've never been to a historic destillery so i cannot make an comparison. But seeing those big shiny copper tanks is very impressive. There are huge illustrations of the monster mascots on the walls which are a nice eye catcher. This could for interesting people that are into folklore like me. Ali did a great Job explaining the brewing process and the history of the young buisness. After the tour his colleague Sasha served us a sample of beer and a sample of whiskey. The beer was a rich tasting lager which i enjoyed very much. The whiskey also tasted great so I ended up buying a whole bottle. But you have to know the whiskey they produce is still in the making and cant be bought before April 2027. Their brand product they serve and sell at the moment is a blend of different scotch whiskeys. Its supposed to be more of a concept of what the actual product should taste like. For me that was no deal breaker.
Great night starting with the distillery and brewery tour, very nice set up and impressive copper pipe work. The tour ended with a tasting session with a selection of beers and two whiskeys.
Excellent tour! Friendly, well-informed guide (Matthew?) who was more than willing to answer questions and paced himself accordingly (one of the small group only spoke French, so some translation humps had to be addressed). Highly recommend!
The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Special thanks to Matthew who led our tour and who is passionate and happy in his role. I totally recommend this to anyone in the Inverness area and I learned a lot. It was really informative and enjoyable. Thanks again Matthew.
Michael was great. Very informative and very knowledgeable about whiskey/beer and brewing processes. Lots of places to sit and visit.
The tour was lovely. And the tasting were great according to my fellow travelers. I would advice to have an alternative for people who cannot drink. I did get a soft drink, but with other distilleries you do usually get the whisky to go. I understand this is more difficult for the beer. However if you can drink I would definitely recommend this tour!
It was listed as a tasting but the tasting was a small taste of beer and a very small taste of a whiskey blend. This was highly disappointing . That said our tour guide was super enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Beautiful brewery, just way too expensive for the experience!
Tour guide was really knowledgeable, it was great having someone who actually worked there who was so enthusiastic about the processes. Tasting was great, really yummy whisky and beers.
Michael gave us a tour of the distillery and was very informative and friendly! Great experience.
