Hue é internacionalmente conhecida como a antiga capital imperial da dinastia Nguyen (1802-1945), mas no Vietname também é conhecida como a capital gastronómica do país. Para quem se dedica a encontrar a melhor comida da cidade e fazê-lo no verdadeiro estilo vietnamita, a única maneira é na garupa de uma moto. A moto nos dá a liberdade de ir aos melhores lugares da cidade para cada prato. Aproveite enquanto nossos motoristas/guias contam as histórias dos muitos pratos de Hue, muitas vezes folclóricos e ferozmente disputados, antes de voltar à bicicleta para retomar sua viagem. Nossos guias/motoristas são todos motociclistas licenciados e experientes, e entusiastas da culinária Hue. Passaremos para buscá-lo em seu hotel e iremos até a Cidadela de Hue e exploraremos as ruas históricas e avenidas arborizadas vizinhas à Cidade Imperial, que além de sua beleza e importância cultural para a cidade também possuem alguns dos melhores restaurantes de a cidade.

Levaremos você para saborear o Com Hen, que é um prato de arroz com ingredientes rurais como mexilhões (galinha) e ervas frescas combinadas através de um processo sofisticado. Os mexilhões são fervidos para criar o caldo que acrescenta doçura e profundidade ao arroz.
Você irá desfrutar de 3 bolos tradicionais 1. Beo Cake`s Hue é um bolo de farinha de arroz que é colocado em uma bolha de alumínio ou em uma xícara pequena e depois cozido no vapor. Geralmente tem uma covinha no meio que é coberta com uma mistura saborosa que inclui camarão fresco, feijão mungo e cebolinha frita 2. Bánh bột lọc”é um dos bolos mais populares de Hue. O bolo será cozido no vapor, depois de bem cozido retire a folha para comer. A massa é tão transparente que dá para ver o recheio de camarão por dentro. Os outros não têm folhagem, são simplesmente despejados, colocados num prato, realçando o sabor com cebola frita. Este bolo deve ser servido com molho de peixe agridoce. 3. O bolo Nam (bolo de arroz com camarão no vapor) é feito de farinha de arroz, camarão, envolto em folhas de frínio e servido com molho de peixe.
Em seguida, você irá para outro lado da cidade para experimentar o Bánh Khoái, que é (panqueca vietnamita) em Hue, é delicioso graças ao segredo de misturar farinha e caldo feito com mais de 10 temperos para criar um molho espesso.
Caminhe ao longo do rio Huong, atravesse a ponte Truong Tien mais famosa de Hue e desfrute do Bún bò Huế, que é uma culinária vietnamita. É uma sopa rica e picante com profundas camadas de sabor. Esta sopa central vietnamita é combinada com fatias tenras de carne bovina e suína e coberta com muitas ervas frescas.
Depois do Bun Bo Hue, vamos levá-lo a experimentar o pão mais exclusivo do Vietnã, chamado Banh Mi, que é um sanduíche vietnamita feito de uma combinação estranha: pãezinhos crocantes cobertos com patê, maionese, presunto asiático de aparência suspeita, em conserva legumes, cebola verde, coentro/coentro, uma poderosa dose de pimenta fresca e um fiozinho de tempero.
Você terminará o passeio com a sopa doce Hue, chamada “Che Hue”, é uma comida de rua vietnamita popular. Pode ser uma sobremesa ou um lanche do meio-dia. Che Hue é provavelmente o mais famoso do país. Como qualquer prato de Hue, Che Hue é delicioso, sofisticado e sutil.

This was by far the best food tour I have been on! The food choices were customized to what I have and have not eaten before, which was exactly what I was hoping for! The places we visited were as local as things get, and the food was of outstanding quality. Delicious! I also learned so much about the different food regions in Vietnam, and why the Vietnamese food is so diverse from north to south. And, absolutely wonderful host and fun along the way!

Bem was our guide and it was awesome. She has only local family kitchens, has us super entertained and gave us other, very interesting insights besides food. After the 7 different restaurants you are still full the next day. Anytime again and highly recommended

We had the food tour with Ngoc and Tai! They were very flexible, since one of us was vegetarian. They chose local restaurants and streetfood-stands which offer vegetarian and non vegetarian food. The tour itself was amazing! We had the chance to try out so many local dishes! And we also managed to see a lot of the city while riding the scooter. We also learned a lot about the food culture here.

Myself and my partner wanted to try the local food but were unsure where to start. We opted for the scooter food tour. Ruby and Tai were amazing, they picked us up from our airbnb and took us to some very cool local places with the most amazing food! The food was so tasty, so many flavours, I loved all of them and it was hard to choose a favourite. We really liked the Com/Bun Hen, Banh Khoai, Banh nam and the local Banh Mi. Ruby taught us a bit of Hue history and about life in Hue. She also helped to cater to my partner, who is vegetarian. Tai was cool to hang out with as a young person of hue, and a great rider too! I loved this motorbike food tour with Ted and the other drivers who drove other members of my family! Hue might be one of the best cities to do a motorbike food tour as the roads are not as busy and food in the region is amazing 🤩 I feel really lucky to have a guide and eat local food (including Bun Bo Hue). Such a fun evening event, and great for people who don’t know where to start to eat this great regional cuisine.
