Tour de chocolate e frutas tropicais

We went to Marsella after being picked up from our hotel/resort. From there we took a Willy jeep to the private farm of Luis Fernando and his wife Lucy. We have never tasted so many fruits and smelled so many herbs. We were to walk through their privately owned property. He introduces you to all the fruits on his property and then we were able to enjoy a special lunch prepared by his wife Lucy with all of the produce from their farm which was yummy. She even made a delicious chocolate dessert! After lunch he showed us the process of the cocoa bean from bean to chocolate. He coached us through the process of converting cocoa beans to chocolate and then we were able to take our chocolates home with us. If you are lucky he will also let you taste his wine at the end of the tour. What a memorable trip for all of us! Gustavo was our tour guide and he did a fantastic job of sharing the history of the region and translating for Luis. We were lucky enough to have Gustavo for two days of tours and his energy and love of his country is contagious. Highly recommend this tour!

Please, please, please go on this tour! It was the highlight of our entire trip to Colombia. We felt so welcomed. and loved within the farmer's home. He is so passionate about this farm and the chocolate he makes. We learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of the experience!

On a recent trip to Colombia we decided at the last minute to visit the coffee growing regions of Risaralda and Quindío. We selected Nature Trips Colombia because of their positive reviews. David Alvarez made our arrangements and did a great job customizing the three tours we chose. The one we enjoyed the most was Tours del Chocolate. We travelled by Jeep Willys to Senderos Orgánicos Brisas del Cauca. The owner, Señor Luis Fernando, gave us a personal tour of his plantation. We saw and tasted many natural fruits and herbs. He showed us how to pick fruit from the cacao tree and we actually got to process the cacao beans into creamy chocolate. A delicious homemade lunch was included in our visit. It was an amazing experience. In the other two tours we selected during our visit we hiked through the lush forest at Barbas Bremen Natural Park, then visited Filandia and Salento with their brightly painted colonial homes. We saw the majestic wax palms in the Cocora Valley and learned how coffee is grown and processed at Finca El Ocaso. Our tour guide Yazmin was full of energy and accommodated specific requests we made during the tours. The drivers we had for each tour were very professional and we were never worried about our safety. We recommend selecting Nature Trips Colombia if you want an unforgettable experience.

Really, Colombia has precious things and this. Besides being an authentically healthy tour, it is fun and beautiful

Me and my boyfriend, we make chocolate beans and then in the piece of candy. We took a typical lunch on the farm and walked over the mountains full of fruit trees. Then we take a walk in the city and saw many colors. Great experience but recommend bringing the umbrella. Good chocolate.
