Great day on the water, captain Massimo and first mate Andre were awesome!

The tour was going as planned in the morning and was very enjoyable. In the afternoon, Luciano (our captain) gave us a schedule to follow that included a very expensive lunch that we were forced to have and an itinerary to make it to the top of Ana Capri. The time frame he gave us was totally unrealistic with the crowds on the island that day. Upon our late return, Luciano made us feel extremely uncomfortable which ruined the entire experience. He questioned our sincerity with our reason for being late and was silent for the remainder of the day. Once again, HE made my wife and 4 children feel horrible to the point of tears. The whole situation should have been handled professionally. Unfortunately, Luciano is not a professional! I

We had such an amazing time with Giovani as our captain and Andrea driving us. Giovani was knowledgeable and made sure to take us to all of the best spots to see grottos and swim. We avoided the big tourist traps and got to see really cool things! We also loved the restaurant that was booked for us in Capri. Andrea was great too and told us info along the drive. Would definitely recommend this tour!!

The landscapes are stunning, the boat was very comfortable and the route was adapted to our preferences, allowing to enjoy each stop with peace. A special thanks to Antonio, our pilot. Very experienced, attentive and friendly, he made the tour even better by sharing information about the region, suggesting the best places to swim and ensuring that everything goes safely and comfortably. We booked this private boat trip from Sorrento to Capri and it was one of the highlights of our whole holiday. Our skipper, Mattia, was brilliant — he sailed us right around the island and gave us a really detailed tour along the way, pointing out all the best spots and sharing bits of local history. Unlimited beer, prosecco, and bar snacks were included, which made us feel like proper VIPs. The boat wasn't the biggest compared to others out there, but honestly it was perfect for a couple — private, personal, and exactly what we wanted. Hiring a boat can get pricey, but this deal felt spot on for what we got, so we'd definitely recommend it. The standout moment for us was when Mattia captured a really special, touching memory for us in front of the Faraglioni rocks — something we'll treasure forever. A couple of honest notes for anyone planning the same trip: we didn't make it to the Blue Grotto due to the wait times there. We chose to spend more time on Capri itself rather than queue, which we don't regret, but it's probably worth doing the Blue Grotto as a separate trip if you want to see it properly. We'd also have liked a bit more time on the island itself, though that was out of our control on this itinerary — so maybe save the Blue Grotto and the Anacapri chairlift for another visit. One practical tip: bring travel wristbands or sea sickness tablets. I was fine on the way out, but felt a little queasy on the return journey — nothing major, but worth being prepared. Overall a wonderful, memorable day at sea — highly recommend, and ask for Mattia if you can!
