Pompeu Maresi comprou as ruínas e começou uma reestruturação na qual seria mantida a aparência de uma estrutura fortificada. O projeto foi confiado ao engenheiro Giacomo Mantegazza que foi enviado às custas de Maresi na Grã-Bretanha para estudar o estilo do Revival Gótico Inglês que o considerava o mais adequado para a reestruturação.

This was a birthday gift for my mom and it didn’t disappoint. The boat was beautiful and the tour was expansive. We did the two hour tour and I’d say that was about right. We stayed in Menaggio and it was a short walk to the boat. Roberto was very accommodating and had prosecco, water and other snacks for us. Much better than a cramped tour boat.

Roberto was fantastic. Even with the one hour tour, we felt like we got to see lots of interesting and beautiful sites along the lake. Roberto was informative and a great guide. We also enjoyed Presecco and the beautiful boat.

We had an amazing time on our private boat tour! Helen and Roberto were so friendly and knowledgeable about Lake Como and its history. They were also extremely communicative beforehand and willing to adjust the time of our tour based on the weather. We learned a lot and enjoyed the beautiful views!

This was the highlight of our activities at Lake Como. Hellen and Roberto were great communicators before the trip and even reached out to move our pickup time around due to weather. We were picked up in Menaggio (just a few minutes from our hotel) and enjoyed the tour and learned a lot about the area. Would definitely recommend and use them again if we ever travel back to Lake Como.

The boat tour with Roberto was amazing! You could tell that he puts his heart into his work and his passion for the lake was truly inspiring.
