Nesta excursão visitaremos 3 dos locais históricos mais antigos e mais bonitos da Transilvânia. Visitaremos a aldeia saxona de Viscri, com ruas rústicas e casas saxonas de belas cores. Vamos subir a colina e visitar a igreja branca fortificada, daí o nome da aldeia de Viscri (a Igreja Branca). Em seguida, vamos para Sighisoara, a cidade desempenhou um importante papel estratégico e comercial nos limites da Europa Central por vários séculos.Casas medievais antigas com uma bela arquitetura, ruas estreitas com casas de cores brilhantes voltarão no tempo e farão você se sentir como princesas e príncipes (ver Vlad Tepes) que viviam na cidade. A Citadela da Rupea, construída na colina de Cohalmului, dominando a cidade de cima, foi construída e expandida nos séculos XIV a XVII, como fortaleza e refúgio para as aldeias circundantes.

É uma fortaleza medieval, construída a partir do século XIV na colina de Cohalm. O primeiro atestado documental data de 1324, quando os saxões se revoltaram contra o rei Carol Robert da Hungria e se refugiaram dentro da fortaleza, Castrum Kuholm. O nome de Kuholom refere-se à rocha sobre a qual foi construída: basalto. Documentos do século XV mencionam a fortaleza como um importante centro comercial e artesanal com 12 guildas. A cidadela serviu ao longo do tempo como fortificação mas também como refúgio para a população que vivia nas colinas e vales circundantes, sendo o seu povoamento estratégico: no cruzamento das estradas que ligam a Transilvânia, a Moldávia e a Valáquia pelas passagens do sudeste. Rupea Citadel, construída na colina de Cohalmului, dominando a cidade de cima, foi construída e ampliada nos séculos XIV-XVII, como fortaleza e refúgio para as aldeias vizinhas.
Sua primeira parada é a vila de Viscri, do século XIV, construída por colonos saxões. É uma das mais belas e antigas igrejas fortificadas da Transilvânia. Ande pelas ruas rústicas da vila e visite sua igreja listada como Patrimônio da Humanidade pela UNESCO. com os camponeses, provar o palinca (Brandy) feito na aldeia, você vai comprar os produtos feitos à mão pelos camponeses na aldeia, e vamos esfriar com o delicioso caldo de frutas "Socata".
Sighisora é considerada a cidadela habitada mais bonita e bem preservada da Europa, com uma autêntica arquitetura medieval. É uma das poucas cidades fortificadas ainda habitadas. Vlad Tepes, aliás Drácula, nasceu nesta cidade em 1431 e nós vamos visite a casa onde nasceu a misteriosa gravura. Central Sighisoara preservou de maneira exemplar a feição de uma pequena cidade fortificada medieval, sendo tombada pela UNESCO como Patrimônio da Humanidade.

This is a day tour full of interesting sights and history. We were the only 2 people on the tour so it effectively became a private tour. Traian is very knowledgeable about the various sites visited, which included Rupea Fortress, Viscri, with the fortified church and the property owned by King Charles, and the atmospheric and historic town of Sighisoara, where we had a walking tour and enjoyed lunch at ‘Dracula’s Restaurant’. Although admission to the various sites is not included in the tour price, these are not expensive and there is no obligation to enter these. We also had some free time in Sighisoara, and were caught in a thunderstorm walking back to the vehicle, although Traian came to meet us carrying umbrellas, which was a nice touch! Overall I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see and learn more about this fascinating region.
Mr. Traian is a very knowledgeable person. Not just that, he’s a kind and accommodating person too. Explains the history thoroughly and develops the context for each site I would recommend to engage him with your Transylvania experience.

Very informative and knowledgeable guide! To visit the cites and learn their history accompanied by the guide was very rewarding. Entrance fee must be paid at most location. Guide also offered to stop by Biertan for an added cost, well worth it.

A wonderful tour of the Saxon villages! our guide was highly knowledgeable,friendly & welcoming. The explanations were fascinating, and the whole experience was enjoyable and enriching. Warmely recomanded to anyone visiting Transylvania!

The UNESCO tour felt like a truly bespoke experience. We travelled as a small group in a very comfortable, clean, and luxurious car. Traian shared a wealth of information about Romania’s culture, geography and history throughout the drive and at each site we visited. He made sure to take pictures for us in all the beautiful spots. We loved every second of our visit to Rupea, Viscri, and Sighișoara. It was the perfect way to wrap up our last day in Brașov, and we are leaving with much more appreciation of Romania. Highly recommended!
