O complexo do mosteiro Harich está localizado na região de Shirak, na pendente norte da montanha Aragats. É constituída por duas igrejas: São Gregório e Santo Astvatsatsin, um vestíbulo, uma torre do sino, depósitos, uma capela, uma escola e outros edifícios. Não há informações claras sobre a construção da primeira igreja do mosteiro, mas a análise das inscrições nas paredes prova que a igreja remonta ao século VII. Harichavank foi um importante centro educacional, que floresceu especialmente no século 13. É outra amostra do pensamento arquitetônico medieval armênio, um reflexo do espírito da época e um testemunho histórico. O famoso escritor armênio Avetik Isahakyan recebeu sua educação primária na escola local.
A segunda cidade da Armênia, Gyumri, que também era chamada Leninakan, Alexandrapol, e na versão armenia original Kumayri, foi habitada desde o terceiro milênio. Tendo percorrido um longo caminho histórico, Gyumri apresenta-se hoje com a sua Cidade Velha, que é melhor preservada no centro da cidade. Cada edifício em Gyumri tem sua história, que é rica em espírito arquitetônico medieval armênio. Esta cidade turística é atraente por causa de seus belos edifícios, ruas, igrejas, e, claro, seu humor inigualável, único Gyumri; afinal, Gyumri é o centro do humor, artes e artesanato da Armênia. As três igrejas famosas de Gyumri e a Fortaleza Negra também estão incluídas no passeio pela cidade.
A Fortaleza Negra é uma fortaleza defensiva construída de pedra preta. Foi construído em 1834 após a Segunda Guerra Russo-Persa. O sistema de drenagem, que protege as paredes do castelo da chuva, merece atenção especial. A Fortaleza Negra, agora transformada em um centro turístico, lembra aos visitantes seu passado militar.
Nos sábados, em vez de Harichavank, visitaremos o mosteiro de Marmashen.

You will be able to see a different glimpse of Armenia via numerous small villages to reach the monastery and ultimately you will arrive at a beautiful city. The guide Hayk was very informed and in perfect English informed about every aspect and driver Vahagn was very carefull. It is of great interest to try to see the Iron Fountain if you can walk which is far away from the centre and the Blue Iron Fountain which is close to the centre.

Yesterday I was on a day trip to Gyumri, Harichavank and Black Fortress with One Way tour and I wanna say a huge thanks to our Guide Tigran who made our trip unforgettable. That was the best tour ever. He’s professionalism is outstanding and our day was amazing, full of interesting stories and jokes. Waiting forward to see him again in other tours as well. Overall a very full and enjoyable day. The tour shuttle was full and we didn't get very good seats, but really that was the only downside. The guide Hayk did a Great Job handling the tour in Armenian and English. The destinations were quite interesting and we felt that we had enough time in each place to explore fully. A very good sightseeing option at a very reasonable price!

The driver Artyom 5+ The guide Tigran 2- Please take care of your guide's training. He is ignorant of Armenian church history and provides wrong information. And he provides either wrong or half done information on everything. Which is unacceptable because he introduces Armenia to foreigners and local people. Guide's job is a serious job. And they should be very well prepared.

Our guide Armine was amazing! And our driver Arsen was very friendly. I really enjoyed this tour, since this was the first time when I could actually see historical places, enjoy listening to the guide and also have a wonderful experience

13.08.24 was a tour of Marmashen, Seve Bird, and Gyumri City tour, very much enjoyed everything, especially the accompanying guide Armine, very interesting to listen to, took many photos, would gladly go on tour again!
