Tour Combinado (Pontes Suspensas, Cachoeira La Fortuna, Vulcão Arenal)

We had an amazing experience with Glass Frog Tours on their waterfall and volcano combo tour. The waterfall was absolutely magnificent, and one of the highlights was being able to get into the water and enjoy the incredible scenery up close. We were also thrilled to spot a sloth while visiting the waterfall area. The adventure continued at the volcano, where we hiked through a beautiful forest and saw even more wildlife, including sloths, howler monkeys, and several other native animals. The wildlife sightings alone made this tour unforgettable. What really set this experience apart was our guide, Juan Pablo. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Costa Rica’s wildlife and natural beauty. His ability to spot animals was incredible. On our drive back, he even found another sloth high in a tree, and several cars stopped to admire it as well. This was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. We highly recommend Glass Frog Tours, and if possible, be sure to ask for Juan Pablo as your guide!

Juan Pablo was our tour guide and he was amazing. Very knowledgeable and kind. He was able to help keep our kids engaged while finding us all the fun animals, critters and beautiful plants. Our family very much enjoyed this tour and would book Juan again in a heartbeat.

Jose drove us from the airport to Noah's Forest and back again; he was great! Very friendly, pointed out all sorts of things to us, and even pulled over for a bit when I got carsick. Juan Jose was our driver one of the days during our stay and really went above and beyond for us. He was super flexible and took us to an additional location that wasn't initially planned, and was so friendly the whole time! We had a great experience with both our drivers through Glass Frog.

We had a fantastic tour with Walter and Esteban. Walter is very knowledgeable about the volcano, waterfall, wildlife and local area. He pointed out snakes, birds, sloths and more at the Hanging Bridges. His English is excellent! Esteban was a careful and safe driver and his vehicle was very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend them if you want a friendly and professional tour company. Our day with Walter and Esteban was the highlight of our time in Arenal/Fortuna.

The highlight of our trip to Costa Rica was the hike to the Arenal volcano. Our guide, Isaac González was fantastic. He was courteous and accommodating and extremely knowledgeable about the history, flora and fauna as well as being fun! A high recommendation for this trip!

We did the Arenal Volcano tour. Our guide Isaac was the best!!!! He asked us questions before the hike to make sure we had the best time possible.. Also he knew the entire history of the area which was really fascinating and made the tour even better.

Marco and Miguel were the best! If you want to be treated like Costa Rica 🇨🇷 royalty 👑, look no further. Miguel's comfy van and expert driving made us feel relaxed, and Marco's non-stop narration was more like sitting through a beloved professor's lecture than the usual rote tourguide speech. We saw sloths, howler monkeys 🐒, spider monkeys, white faced monkeys, snakes🐍 and other critters that the unguided could not have seen. Marco even knows every sound the forest fauna make. Bring your best hiking socks and boots and be ready to be amazed!

It’s hard to put in words how amazing this tour was. Isaac took a simple hike to volcano Arenal and turned it into an unforgettable journey, filled with local history and education on the biodiversity that Costa Rica offers, and ended with us resting at the base of the volcano on naturally formed lava formations. His knowledge of the history and natural ecosystem captivated our family and made this truly the best guided tour we have ever been on. We returned to our starting point to be welcomed with fresh cut fruit. I am not sure how we were so fortunate to have Isaac as our guide, but we are so thankful we did. Pura Vida at its finest for sure.
