Ervin is an expert, very lively, charming, informative, and entertaining. He is dapper in appearance, energetic, and confident. He expertly maneuvered us through gates and around lines while giving us great depth and breadth of historical knowledge. Ervin was very responsive to our preferences on where and how to spend our time (Topkapi is very large). He even has a very special umbrella for warmer days. Our time with him was delightful and we learned so much more about Topkapi than we would have without a guide.

A very interesting visit with Dogan, French speaking guide, generously sharing historical details, tips, and all the experience he acquired during more than 30 ans as a guide. We definitly recommend this tour. Please note that the exact location should be indicated with more accuracy than three different names (Minared coffee, harem souvenir shop etc..). Same for the time schedule of the meeting (10.45 and then 11.45 in the very same mail).
The beginning was a bit messy (hence 4 stars), we had some difficulty to find the people and there was no clear signs. More contact ahead might help to smooth the process. But once we were with the right group, everything went fine. There was just some hold up at security but you can’t help it. The tour give you a good overview of the palace and helpfull tips to visit it. After 1 hour, the left you in the harem and you are on your own. The guide was nice and interesting.
The viewing was very entertaining due to the casual and funny explanation. Nice that we were approached before Hagia Sophia by Ergin!!!
Well worth the convenience of skipping lines and guided tour. Ozzie, the guide was excellent. I would recommend this guided tour. It was exactly as advertised. Admission ticket price was additional, but that is clearly written in their tour description.
It is a scam. We thought we have purchased a ticket but when we got there we found out we have to pay additional 50 EUR per person and what we have bought was just skip the line for 24 USD. They provide no possibility to get your money back once you realize what you have paid for. Btw, there were no lines.
I think you didn't clearly read what you purchased. We don't sell tickets only; we offer tours that include tickets—either a 1-hour group or a 2-hour private tour. You can request a refund anytime on TripAdvisor. We will refund your $24 as soon as possible.
Great guide with so much knowledge. Great pace and clear english made the tour enjoyable. Would highly recommend to all of my friends.
