Had a great day with Monica who is really pulling out all the stops for the best experience. As a true local, she knows Tomar like the back of her hand and as a graduate historian she knows every symbol you ask a question about. If you're still hesitating between an audio tour and this tour, don't hesitate any longer, it's worth it!
thank you so much
The guide Monica is very good. Besides the great knowledge of History is extremely friendly and asking. I highly recommend.
Muito obrigada
Monica is an outstanding tour guide who made our visit to Tomar truly unforgettable. Her deep knowledge of the Knights Templar history and Portugal's origins is impressive, but what really sets her apart is her ability to bring the past to life through captivating storytelling as you explore the city. As a Tomar native with formal training in history, Monica offers authentic insights that go far beyond what you'd find in a guidebook. She revealed layers of history and meaning that we would have completely missed on our own. Her passion for the subject matter is infectious, and she answered every question we had with expertise and enthusiasm. Beyond her historical knowledge, Monica was incredibly kind and generous with her time. She also provided excellent suggestions for the rest of our Portugal travels, which proved invaluable. If you're looking for more than just a surface-level tour, Monica is the guide you want. Her charm, professionalism, and genuine love for sharing her city's rich history left a lasting impression on us. We highly recommend her tour and can't wait to return!
