Plenty to see but depends on the weather whether you see Mt Fuji. Get a photo. There is plenty of shopping there!
Good views but a bit expensive for the experience. Veryyyyy tourist trappy. They have the Disney flow of tourists down pat for sure
Towers are always a must for the View...This one is great. I missed the fact that there is another deck that requires another ticket, so we didn't get to go to the top. Tickets were available that day. It's timed and Shibuya is not, so if I had realized, I would have booked this one time wise and we could have gone there first. The general admission is not timed, just the time to the top deck. There is a Shrine there, small, with a Goshuin you can buy in the gift shop, along with the wish ornaments. There is also a 'stamp', so bring your book. I forgot mine and bought a postcard so I would do the stamp on the back. I had to barely trim it and it fit in my book. I do my research, but I missed the fact that there are a couple of shrines near the Tower, I was focused on other ones...but check those out before you go, so you know. It's worth a visit ~
Thank you very much for sharing such a detailed and thoughtful review! We’re glad you enjoyed the tower and the views—it truly is a special place. You’re absolutely right about the different ticket types, and we appreciate you pointing this out. The top deck does require a separate timed ticket, and your feedback is very helpful for future travelers when planning their visit more efficiently. We’ll certainly take this into consideration to help make the information even clearer. It’s wonderful to hear that you enjoyed discovering the shrine, goshuin, wish ornaments, and stamp—those little details really make the experience unique. Your tip about bringing a stamp book (or using a postcard) is a great suggestion for fellow travelers. Thank you again for your insights and recommendations. We’re happy to know you found the visit worthwhile, and we hope to welcome you again on another experience in the future!
Worth the visit. Nice views. Only got to go to the main observation deck (lower one). Tickets appeared cheaper at the Tower.
Thank you for your review! We’re happy to hear you enjoyed the visit and the beautiful views from the observation deck. The main deck already offers a great perspective, and we’re glad you had a good experience. Ticket prices can sometimes vary depending on availability and timing, and we always recommend travelers check all options in advance to choose what works best for them. We appreciate you sharing your feedback—it’s helpful for future visitors. We hope you enjoy more amazing experiences on your travels and look forward to welcoming you again!
360-degree Panoramic View: The highlight of visiting Tokyo Tower is the stunning panoramic view from the observation decks. From the Main Deck (150 meters) and Top Deck (250 meters), you can enjoy breathtaking vistas of Tokyo, including major landmarks like Shibuya, Shinjuku, and on clear days, Mount Fuji in the distance. Nighttime Views: The tower is particularly enchanting at night when Tokyo’s sprawling cityscape is illuminated. The view of the lights stretching out to the horizon is nothing short of mesmerizing. Iconic Landmark: Tokyo Tower, built in 1958, was inspired by the Eiffel Tower and stands at 333 meters tall, making it the second tallest structure in Japan (after Tokyo Skytree). Its unique design and bright orange color make it a distinctive feature of the Tokyo skyline, and its legacy as one of Japan’s most recognizable landmarks adds to the excitement of visiting.
The tokyo Admission tickets gives you access to stunning panoramic views of the city. The observation decks offer great views of landmarks like Shibuya, Shinjuku, and even Mt. Fuji on clear days. The tower itself is iconic and beautifully lit up at night. The downside is the ticket price can feel a bit steep compared to other attractions, and it can get crowded, especially on weekends. Tip: Buy tickets online to skip the line and try visiting in the early morning or late evening for fewer crowds. Great for first-timers in Tokyo
I couldn't get in because they never sent me the QR code that never reached me in the email I want my money back I'm very very angry I want my money
Great views, but some areas blocked by newer higher buildings. A good experience with one of Tokyo's older and more traditional attractions. Think Eiffel Tower plus a meter.
Excellent experience. Awesome panoramic views of the city. We had a great time. Very good place to shop for souvenirs.
It was a pleasure visiting the Tokyo tower. The observatory has amazing views of the city. Also, an abundance of shops for souvenir shopping.
