- Este passeio está disponível apenas para hóspedes com 12 anos ou mais. Os hóspedes menores de 12 anos não estão autorizados a entrar no estádio de sumo. Se um hóspede menor de 12 anos for encontrado, poderemos ter de recusar a participação sem reembolso.
- O passeio começará prontamente e os hóspedes devem chegar a tempo. Por favor NOte que os chegados tardios não poderão participar do passeio, e não haverá reembolsos ou mudança de horário para passeios perdidos.
- Por favor, esteja ciente de que a maioria dos estábulos de sumo não fornecem cadeiras, e os hóspedes devem sentar-se diretamente no tatami (piso de tapete de palha). Alguns locais da excursão podem não ser acessíveis em cadeira de rodas ou carrinho.
- Os hóspedes devem seguir estritamente as regras de cada estádio de sumo. Se um hóspede se comportar de forma perturbadora ou não respeitar os regulamentos do estábulo, o estábulo se reserva o direito de recusar a entrada ou participação sem reembolso. Por favor, note que apenas as áreas de tatami são acessíveis dentro do estábulo; todas as outras áreas estão fora do limite.
- Se necessário, os hóspedes podem sair do estábulo antes do final do treino; no entanto, entenda que a reentrada não será permitida uma vez que você tenha saído.
- A fotografia durante a prática está sujeita à política de cada estádio de sumo. Dependendo do dia, tirar fotos dos lutadores ou com os lutadores pode não ser permitido.
- Dependendo do número de participantes, o grupo pode ser dividido e atribuído a diferentes estábulos. Sentar-se dentro dos estábulos é em uma base de primeiro-vindo, primeiro-servido; chegadas posteriores podem sentar-se mais longe da frente.
- Por favor, entenda que os estádios de sumo podem cancelar ou ajustar seu horário de prática no último minuto com base na condição dos lutadores ou compromissos do torneio. Em caso de cancelamento pelo estábulo, um reembolso total será emitido prontamente.
- A duração da sessão de prática pode variar, o que pode fazer com que o passeio termine mais cedo ou mais tarde do que o tempo estimado.
- Por favor, use o banheiro antes do início do passeio, pois o acesso ao banheiro pode não estar disponível durante a prática.
- Mudanças de reserva ou solicitações feitas no dia do passeio não podem ser aceites. Em alguns casos, poderemos solicitar uma alteração na hora ou data da sua excursão, dependendo da disponibilidade das estações de sumo.
- O clima do Japão tornou-se mais extremo, com temperaturas de verão atingindo até 40 °C (110 °F) e baixos de inverno caindo para - 5 °C (20 °F). Por favor, vesti-se adequadamente para o clima.
- Não há taxa de entrada separada para participar da prática de sumo da manhã.

This is not one of those showy/drinks included/put on a sumo suit and try to wrestle a real sumo excursions. This is an authentic visit to a real sumo stable to sit in on their morning practice (just like its advertised). It's fascinating and not the typical touristy sumo experience. Personally, I would have loved a little more insight like possibly a walk through their living quarters or maybe even a Q & A with one of the wrestlers (if they spoke English), but it was still really really good
The guide, Maria, was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. It was very interesting to watch and time flew by quickly
Seeing the Sumo training right up close is an intense and fascinating experience. Our guide Hiro did a great job explaining the basics and answering our questions. The sumo were clearly working hard and giving it their all to improve their skills. Some even crashed into the section were watching from as they tried to push reach other out of the ring, so you need to keep your bags and feet out of the way. It was a real privilege to watch their daily practise. Definitely one of the best things I've seen in Japan so far.

We Loved it- up close and personal watching the sumos workout and there was no holding back in their practice fights Maria was great guide explaining how the stables operate and background of Sumo so we could understand what we were stepping into it.

My guide was excellent. He made sure that i Understood the history and what was expected of me at the stable. He then helped me get the train to my next activity.

This was a cool experience and I am glad I did it. I learned a lot about sumo and really enjoyed watching the young men who are trying to become sumo wrestlers interact with their coach. This is much like the minor leagues in baseball. They have a dream and work hard with little or no pay, but only a few really make it big. The only down side is that it's 2 hours of sitting still and watching. Make sure you use the restroom beforehand. This probably would have been perfect if it was only 1 hour. However, I wouldn't want to leave after the first hour, because you'd only see the drills and exercises and would miss the wrestlers competing with each other. It was pretty intense. These guys work hard. I was afraid one would have a heart attack or something.

Marie's enthusiasm for Sumo is incredible! She knew the answer for every obscure question (including mine about shimenawa/shide.) She went beyond what the other tour guides (from 2 other companies did.) She showed up early, she walked us to the stable a little earlier so we could get front row seats. At the end of the tour, she surprised us all with a calligraphy style printout of the current Sumo rankings! I'm a Sumo fan girl now all thanks to Marie!
