I would not recommend this tour. It was reminiscent of being on a school trip - ferried around in a huge group with our guide resembling an angry, tense teacher. She made no conversation and gave very little information, instead barking orders repeatedly about timings and not getting left behind. She even followed one poor woman into the toilet to tell her off for pausing! It got to the point of being humorous and we actually left early. If you simply want transport from Tokyo to Hakone, and then to the Hakone hotspots, this is the tour for you. If you are looking for more of an experience and to learn about the area/history, do not book this.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Unforgettable Mt. Fuji Tour with Erik! Our trip to Mt. Fuji was truly one of the most amazing experiences of our entire visit to Japan, and a huge part of that was because of our wonderful guide, Erik! From the beginning to the end, Erik was absolutely fantastic. He was kind, friendly, patient, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience possible. He made us feel comfortable and welcome from the very first moment. The views of Mt. Fuji were breathtaking, but what made the day even more special was the way Erik guided us through the experience. He shared interesting information, helped us enjoy every stop without feeling rushed, and made the entire day fun and memorable. Traveling with my son, I especially appreciated how attentive and thoughtful he was with both of us. You can tell that Erik doesn't simply do this as a job — he truly wants his guests to have an incredible experience and leave Japan with beautiful memories. And that is exactly what he gave us. ❤️🇯🇵🗻 If you are planning a Mt. Fuji tour, ask for Erik! I cannot recommend him highly enough. Erik was absolutely amazing and honestly one of the best tour guides we could have asked for. He made our Mt. Fuji and Hakone experience so much better, and I know for a fact I wouldn’t have enjoyed the day nearly as much without him as our guide. His English was outstanding, and he was extremely clear and organized throughout the entire tour. He explained the plan perfectly, made sure we always knew what we were doing and where we were going, and answered every single question we had. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, resourceful, and genuinely one of the nicest people we met during our trip. What really stood out was how much he went above and beyond. Erik didn’t just give us great recommendations for Mt. Fuji and Hakone — he gave us amazing recommendations for the rest of our Japan trip too. He genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience possible, even beyond the tour itself. If you have the opportunity to book a tour with Erik, do it. He made the entire experience fun, easy, and memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. 10/10 — highly recommend Erik. The tour guide was very friendly and helpful. He planned out everything nicely even though their was traffic we were able to almost everything

Terrible tourist experience with this tour. Our original booking was with Tripadvisor for 8am local time 24 hours before it was changed to 7.15 meet time and 7.30 start time. we left accordingly to arrive at meet point while communicating all along the way that we could be 5-10 mins late. Inspite of all this we ran and arrived at 7.35 when operator Evita called and said they can not wait and left right in front of our eyes. You should know that this tour changes times arbitrarily, does not accommodate changes or very rude to customers even when 5 minutes are past the time on a tour for the whole day. DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR IF You can not accommodate operator changes, inflexibility in timing and can not keep exact precise time of tour even when changed by the operator on their own.

The weather was beautiful and Fuji was visible most of the day. That said- the tour itself was rushed. We hit traffic both ways which wasn’t the tour’s fault but still crammed in all stops and ended up being a 12 hour day. The pirate ship & cable cars aren’t really optional since they drop you off and pick you up in a different location. Both well worth the extra though. Lunch was not good and I’d recommend skipping and grabbing something nearby the restaurant stop or at the next site where there were multiple food vendors.

Kousai was amazing and very friendly. He knew all the best photo spots and made the experience very fun!

We were so blessed to see Mt Fuji and had an excellent experience with our guide, James. I would maybe recommend bringing entertainment for the bus unless you really like watching scenery our the window; you do spend a lot of time on the bus. BUT the sightseeing is incredible, there's an excellent lunch stop, plenty of opportunities to get souvenirs, and I would overall highly recommend the trip. Make sure to bring cash and be respectful of others' time.

Kousei was great. Very knowledgeable and conscious of everyone within the group. Would recommend. Prepare for traffic

It’s a long drive but well worth it. Jack was an excellent guide, very helpful, friendly, and organized. I would never have been able to see all these places without this tour.
