Excellent front desk woman (who also took the group on the tour) was a good PR start. Tour well structured with a variety of presentations/activities and balanced information - no overload or tortuous statistics. Tour leader was conscious of those with English as a second language and those with infirmities. Good not to have an oversell on merchandise/souvenirs. A worthwhile experience/tourist/rugby fan event.
Was so good to hear not just the success (achievements) the the why (culture) As an already very proud New Zealander, it reaffirmed that it is a nation that stands together. Then to put skills into practice.
If you are a Rugby fan then I recommend it
A great experience, really well constructed and delivered. Terrific insights into the decades of pride and strength in the All Blacks and Black Ferns jerseys. A bit tough to weather the Wallabies banter, but you have to give full credit to their dominance.
If you love rugby, you’ll love this. Liam was so enthusiastic and engaging, with outstanding knowledge of players past and current. It was lovely to see the value they also placed on the Black ferns.
It was very cool to learn about the spirit of the NZ All Blacks and feel the Haka. Loved learning and playing along.
We had an enjoyable experience overall. The guide was pleasant and engaging, which really added to the atmosphere. It felt like a unique activity, with some fun interactive elements that made it more memorable. That said, we did feel it was a bit on the expensive side for what was offered.
Not as detailed of insight into the All Blacks as expected/desired. Interactive games were nice and fun although 1 didn't operate correctly.
The staff were lovely and welcoming and the guide was good. However, the "experience" itself was underwhelming. Watched videos of players and coaches speaking about their experiences while sitting in a "changing room", walked through a corridor which showed how teams had fared in world cups, and ended up with an option to participate in a few interactive activites at the end. Quite superficial. The only interesting thing was watching the Haka being performed by the men's and women's teams on a large screen. Definitely not worth $69 per person.
I wasn't too keen to do this but went as son had recommended it and we had a great time. Much better than I had anticipated - lots of fun and had a great tour guide. Interactive and interesting but also a lot of fun. Recommended
