The Ultimate Flamenco Experience(aula, tapas, show com artista)

This was a fabulous experience that I will never forget and I would recommend it to anyone, whether you are completely new to flamenco or more experienced. Maria was the perfect host, knowledgeable, kind and very engaging with a passion for flamenco and a great sense of fun. The class was really enjoyable and it helped me to appreciate the flamenco performance more as it gave me a better understanding of the basics of flamenco and it was a great introduction to Seville. It was made even better by the little tour of Triana and learning about the history of the area and flamenco. The performance, in an intimate, welcoming setting with Maria dancing, Mercedes singing and Jordi playing guitar was fantastic. It was a privilege to be in the lovely family atmosphere in the bar (and the tortilla Maria ordered for me was very tasty!) The evening finished with tapas in a fabulous bar. I am so grateful to Maria and her colleagues for a wonderful experience. It was very good value for money and I would definately recommend it.

This was the highlight of my holiday and it was a fabulous privilege to have Maria and all the others involved share their passion for flamenco and be so friendly, kind and generous. If you're interested in flamenco, I would highly recommended this experience. Maria, who was the host for this wonderful experience, lives and breathes flamenco and it was a privilege to be able to spend time with her. Her knowledge and passion about flamenco was fantastic and the whole experience was amazing. The dance class was top quality and great fun and Maria was a fabulous teacher - very patient! I really enjoyed finding out about Triana and it's role in flamenco and the flamenco performance, with Maria dancing, Mercedes singing and Jordi playing guitar was full of the spirit of Flamenco and of top quality. There were so many lovely touches to this experience, for example the tasty tapas, the lovely staff in the bar and the recommendations for where to experience different kinds of Flamenco. All of these little touches made this an experience that surpassed my expectations. It was the highlight of my holiday and a great way to start my week exploring Seville and enjoying my introduction to flamenco. Thank you so much to Maria and everyone involved and wishing you all the best in your dream of sharing your live of Flamenco.

After taking in many flamenco shows, I wanted the full story. Maria is a natural and engaging educator full of stories about the neighborhood, the culture, and her experience as a flamenco dancer. I was able to see and understand the whole performance in a new light (and learn a few moves, too!). What a treat. Thank you, Maria!

We had a wonderful time with Maria! She shared with us the local history of the area and flamenco dancing then took us to her studio to teach us some basic moves. It was so interesting to hear about the communication between the flamenco performers and then see it in action as we viewed a performance at Maria's club. We were privileged to see Maria perform. Following the performance, we enjoyed tapas at a local restaurant and are looking forward to Maria sending us some recipes! All in all, a very delightful evening!

The price in relation to what we got was not ok. This cost 570 euros for 4 people. We had to walk for 2 hours and could have arranged the entire experience ourselves for less than half that. The show was accessible and the tapas afterwards was around the corner. It was nothing special and the person who went along had an envelope with the exact amount of money, so we had no idea what was and was not allowed. Our response to the organization resulted in no response. In summary: disappointed and a waste of money

We absolutely loved the amazing flamenco show of Esencia! All artists (guitarist, singer, dancers) really put their harts and souls in their performance and it really touched us. This was the authentic experience we were looking for! The setting was perfect and very intimate, which created the perfect living-room-vibe for flamenco. The artists are all very experienced and still they took lots of time to explain and elaborate on questions about everything they did, both in English and in Spanish. You could tell they have unlimited passion for flamenco!

Maria was so great! Had such a great time. The tapas were all very delicious, her knowledge of spain, flamenco traditions and foods were very informative. The class was so much fun, she was so kind and patient. The show was phenomenal, we saw a few other flamenco shows because I used to dance it and none were as talented as Maria and her group. Since you did the class you appreciate the dance more. Highly recommend !!!
