Forza d'Agrò é um município da área de Messina com apenas 833 habitantes, no entanto é um destino muito procurado por visitantes que desejam se encontrar em alguns lugares onde foi filmado o filme O Poderoso Chefão. Os edifícios de maior interesse que encontramos no seu interior foram construídos entre os séculos XIII e XVII. Assim que chegarmos, pararemos em um ponto panorâmico de tirar o fôlego, onde admiraremos a costa jônica e o Valle d'Agrò, após o que teremos a oportunidade de caminhar pela vila visitando a Igreja da Santissima Annunziata, que aparece no filme, a Igreja da Santíssima Trindade localizada em frente ao Arco Durazzesco e o convento agostiniano.
A apenas 30 minutos de Forza d'Agrò, Savoca será a segunda parada. Com 1732 habitantes, também nos dará um panorama maravilhoso e caminhando visitaremos alguns locais onde foram realizadas as filmagens, o mais importante, o Vitelli Bar, e depois continuaremos em direção à Igreja Matriz de Savoca. My husband and I enjoyed our tour it was a treat to see where the Godfather was filmed, especially since I am a fan of the movie series. Our guide showed us actual clips from the movie as we walked through the town where the filming took place.
Manuel messaged us the day before our excursion to confirm pickup point and time. He arrived punctually and gave us a bottle of water each. He wasn’t very chatty at first but as the trip went on he engaged more. He is very knowledgeable and was very attentive. We visited the famous Bar Vitelli where Michael Corleone asked Apollonia's father her hand in marriage, church where they married, and other movie locations. Manuel is a great guide and we would highly recommend him.
Touring the site as well as the beautiful areas along the way. Our tour guide helped us appreciate the entire experience.
This views were pretty but it was overpriced for what we got. We saw 3 sites from the Godfather movie but the guide was not educated on the movie which was disappointing . He was rather quiet and shy which didn't make the day very interesting. Half the day was a slow walking tour and the rest of the day was driving.
The driver was kind and professional, he even accompanied us inside the cities showing us the places where the filming took place. The car was a comfortable and spotless sedan, could not go better... Thank you for this great experience!
The tour of the Godfather is fantastic for lovers of the series, we had a good time from start to finish walking in these villages that are teeming with Sicilian tradition. Being in front of the wedding church and the bar of the meeting with Apollonia was magical. Experience recommended!
My brother and I were really excited by this experience, after watching the Godfather movie we really wanted to meet in the filming locations, and Manuel guided us throughout the day with immense friendliness and sympathy, absolutely recommend!
I spent a fantastic experience in the company of my wife where we could see live the places of the film the godfather part II. I was immediately enchanted by the beauty of Savoca and Forza D'agró, all accompanied by the professionalism and experience of Manuel who was able to make us appreciate even more these beautiful places rich in history and art, fabulous experience to repeat
We visited these two beautiful villages, Savoca and Forza d’Agrò and we were really excited. The churches and streets of these places are very different from the big cities. Our guide was very kind and met our needs leaving us free time. I highly recommend.
