We were taken care of by Julie. She was on top of the tour, and we didn't have any delays. We were skipping all the lanes. We ate so much that day. It was amazing. Julie was amazing. We ate more than 10 different foods and besides that also go a quick city tour and some historical background. We can only recommend this. The only reason we gave only 4* stars is that we were left to go home to the hotel by ourselves. This was a bit difficult but we are experienced travellers so we managed. I believe it would have been better to take us back to the hotel. Other than that the experience is 5 stars.
We loved our guide Juli. She taught us about local culture and history while we tried lots of new foods. It was a fun adventure in a local market and so nice to have a guide that knew what to order.
We had a fantastic food tour in Seoul with Thomas. He was punctual, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable throughout the entire experience. Thomas took us to a wide variety of food stalls and introduced us to many delicious Korean dishes that we may never have discovered on our own. What made the tour especially memorable was the wealth of information he shared. Not only did he explain the history and significance of the foods we sampled, but he also provided fascinating insights into Korean culture and history, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. Thomas was friendly, engaging, and happy to answer all of our questions. His passion for Korean food and culture was evident, and it greatly enhanced our visit to Seoul. We highly recommend Thomas to anyone looking for an authentic and informative Korean food tour experience.
We had an absolute blast experiencing so many unique foods while learning about the rich history behind them. Our guide, Kevin Lee, is a true wealth of knowledge and explained everything in a way that was incredibly easy to understand. He was also highly flexible with the tour schedule and customized the food selections to match what we wanted to try
Great tour with Chris - lots of food and history! Got to see much of the market and learn about the history of Korea
This was supposed to be a food tour. The listing promised 10 different foods, and would include Sejong and the palace. We met at the first market, had 3 different food within 15 minutes, and then walked for 2 hours without food or water to another market. We had one other food item after demanding that we stop for water. We did not sign up to walk for two hours in mostly silence. I could have curated a better tour myself than what we experienced. While our guide was kind, it was obvious he had no plan.

The host confirmed that the tour took place as planned, that transportation options were offered throughout, and that additional food tastings were presented later in the experience. We understand the guest's account of events differs, and we take both perspectives seriously. What we can absolutely agree on is that a 10-tasting food tour should feel engaging, well-paced, and generously filled with food from start to finish. If any part of the experience felt unstructured or lacking in energy, that is feedback we take seriously and will pass directly to the host for their development.
