Itinerário: 8h30 - pegue o hotel para visitar o Templo de Doi Suthep, o templo mais famoso do norte, no topo da colina. Wat Pra That Doi Suthep, que contém um santo relux de Buda e é alcançado a 306 degraus, ladeado pela mítica balaustrada de Nagas de ambos os lados, as vistas panorâmicas da cidade a partir do templo são verdadeiramente espetaculares em um dia claro.
10:30 - Wat Jed Yod, o Wat Ched Yod é um atraente complexo de templos Lanna nos arredores de Chiang Mai, que contém uma arquitetura muito única. O templo que também é conhecido como Wat Chet Yod e Wat Photharam Maha Vihara é um templo real que remonta ao século XV. Seu estilo arquitetônico mostra influência de Lanna, Rattanakosin, Lao, chinês e indiano. O templo foi construído durante o reinado do rei Tilokkarat, rei do Reino de Lanna de 1441 a 1487. As cinzas dos reis estão consagradas em um chedi nas dependências do templo.
11h30 - Wat Suan Dok, localizado a oeste da parte murada de Chiang Mai, é um templo muito antigo conhecido por seu grande número de chedis ou pagodes brancos. Wat Suan Dok significa literalmente templo de jardim de flores. O templo deriva seu nome do local em que foi construído. A área do templo já foi usada como jardins de flores reais pelo governante de Chiang Mai. As características mais notáveis do Wat Suan Dok são o grande número de chedis. O chedi dourado mais alto, no estilo do Sri Lanka, tem 48 metros de altura e contém a relíquia do Buda. Um grande número de chedis brancos menores contém as cinzas de membros de várias gerações da Família Real de Chiang Mai. As cinzas foram trazidas para cá de vários lugares de Chiangmai, conforme solicitado pela princesa Dara Rashmi, no início do século XX. Em 1477, o 8º Conselho Budista Mundial foi realizado aqui para discutir os textos da Tripitaka, as escrituras que contêm os ensinamentos budistas.
13:00 pm- Wat Phra Singh, havia vários templos magníficos e muito antigos dentro da cidade murada de Chiang Mai, com o Wat Phra Singh sendo um dos mais atraentes. Kong La gave us one of the most unforgettable days of our entire Thailand trip. From the moment he picked us up, everything felt thoughtful, unhurried, and deeply personal. He took us up into the hills to visit the Long Neck Karen village in a way that felt respectful and authentic - not rushed, not performative, but genuinely educational and human. We learned so much, and it never felt like a “tour stop,” but a meaningful experience. From there, we wound through the mountains to the tea plantation, where the views were absolutely breathtaking. Kong La knew exactly where to go, when to go, and gave us the space to take it all in while sharing the history and culture behind what we were seeing. It felt like traveling with a local friend who loves his home and wants you to love it too. And then ASA Farmstay… the highlight of highlights. Arriving there felt like stepping into another world. Kong La didn’t just drop us off - he helped bridge the experience so we understood what made this place so special. Learning about cultivation, harvesting ingredients, and cooking traditional Thai food from scratch with the family was something we will talk about for the rest of our lives.

I did a day trip and ended up the only one, so I had a private tour! The sights were beautiful and she answered all of my questions and more. I appreciated her insight and context. She was flexible and asked me what I wanted to do, but we still saw everything on the itinerary. I can’t recommend her enough!
Every temple was beautiful in its own way the craftsmanship of both the architecture paintings and carvings were magnificent. We enjoyed the whole day thanks to our guide Yukki and driver Mr Bank

Definitly Recommend 4.5/5. Kongla did a great job taking us through Northern Thailand. The history of the Hill People, Tea Plantation, and Opium Museum are very informative.
Kongla was a great guide. He was very informative and was able to answer all of our questions concerning Thailand history and culture. The tour of the hill tribes was interesting but at the same time, it was a little disturbing as mentioned in the other reviews. The House of Opium was super cool. Even though it was small, it provided a lot of good information. It was also neat to see three countries at once at the Golden Triangle. I would definitely recommend this tour if you have extra time in Chiang Rai.
