Mr Kana was our driver & guide he looked after us , took us around the temple and was very informative. The Kecak dance was an excellent finish to the evening.
Hi Thank you for leave comment on review link, we really appreciate it and have great day. Regard Adie
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about Balinese culture and led us through the tour superbly answering our questions, pointing out temples, taking our photographs and guiding us along the trail that would eventually end where the Kecak fire dance would begin. The tour was planned perfectly so that we could watch the sunset from the temple’s dramatic cliffside location where we enjoyed stunning views of the Indian Ocean stretching endlessly across the horizon. The Kecak dance at sunset tells a fascinating story and is truly a must-see experience if you are here, I have never seen anything like it. Tips: On your trail around the grounds keep your personal belongings out of sight, the monkeys are clever and bold and will happily snatch items knowing a guide might bribe them with food to return what they’ve stolen. It was funny to watch but also a little worrying, especially for those who never got their things back which you could tell by the remains scattered where the monkeys gather.
Hi Mr David Uluwatu is one of the places in southern Bali to enjoy the sunset. And it's a rather popular venue for traditional dance performances. But because the area is still natural and close to the forest, many wild monkeys roam around and visitors are advised to be careful with valuable items like cell phones and jewelry. Thank you Regard Adie
Eddie was such an amazing guide! So kind and informative. This was one of the best experiences of my whole trip! I would absolutely reach out to him / this booking next time I’m in Bali!
Dear Guest Thank you for trusting and placed order with Us. The team extends a big thank for booking via your travel agent, especially your guide Eddy, he said thanks for the valuable time to a leave comment and for sharing experiences on this review wall. Regard Adie
If I had to rate only the driver Edu I would rate it with a 5 (excellent) but the temple and the show do not deserve 2.30h drive from Juta beach.
Dear Maria Luisa Garcia Perez Thank you for booking and sharing your experience. In Bali, after Christmas and New Year, it is the peak season from December 27, 2024, to January 5, 2025. You booked your travel date for January 1, 2025, which is a very busy situation where everyone is on holiday and the locals are also on holiday. In Bali, there is still no toll road from kuta to Uluwatu to avoid traffic jams, and the local government is looking for a solution. Thank you, if you come back to Bali, it's better to do so before Christmas and after mid-January or suggest staying at hotel located in uluwatu area. Thank you Regard Adie
Beautiful temple, the fire dance was once interesting of another culture, but very many people, no place to run
Vielen Dank Regard Adie
Very nice trip to the temple with final fire show. Especially thanks to our guide Edy, super reliable with pointed tips and hints. Thank you

Hi Maja Danke/Thank you. Dery A Dery A
Eddy was a great guide! He is very knowledgeable about Bali, Indonesia, and the world! Uluwatu was amazing! Be sure to not wear glasses or bring valuables because the monkeys are very mischievous.
Hi Nadia Thank you become part on this wall. Your review will mean alot for him and us. Kecak dance is one of popular traditional dance with attraction and nice story with traditional sound music. Thank you and happy holiday in Bali. Adie
We had a lovely Saturday evening on the Uluwatu Temple and Kecak Fire Dance Tour. Ghali, our friendly guide met us on time at our Nusa Dua hotel lobby and provided us with a bottle of water. He informed us of what to expect and about the significance of Uluwatu Temple. Saturday afternoon the roads were rather quiet, and Ghali asked if we were interested in tasting coffee at the Bukit Sari Balinese Coffee House. It was interesting to see the luwak and how the Indonesians process the famous luwak coffee. We sat for fifteen minutes sipping a range of Balinese teas and coffees which was free, but this was followed by browsing the coffee shop. Warning, the fixed prices of the packaged coffee here are double or triple the cost of coffee sold in Australia. Uluwatu was already busy by the time we arrived, but we managed to find a car park. Ghali explained the importance of wearing the sarong, fetched the entry tickets, protected us from the sneaky monkeys, was helpful in taking photos of us, led us to the entrance of the outdoor theatre and provided a paper summary of the show’s story. The Kecak Fire Dance was an amazing dance-drama-musical and different to the usual Balinese dancing. Whilst the sunset was lovely it was rather hot on the people facing it. We choose seats with our backs to the sun. At Uluwatu, there are small shops for food and drink and an ATM. Ghali was very accommodating to our needs, and we enjoyed sharing information about our cultures whilst returning to our hotel.
