Embora existam vários marcos históricos na Armênia, o mais antigo e mais conhecido é provavelmente o bíblico Monte Ararat. Um lugar que não pode ser perdido, enquanto na Armênia é Tatev Monastery, que já foi o centro educacional e espiritual da Armênia. Ele é construído em um planalto no desfiladeiro do rio Vorotan e é cercado por montanhas de tirar o fôlego e florestas densas. Você pode chegar aqui montando o maior teleférico do mundo Wings of Tatev.

O mosteiro Khor Virap está localizado a cerca de uma hora de carro da capital Yerevan e oferece uma vista incrível do símbolo que define a Armênia - o majestoso Ararat. “Khor Virap” se traduz como “masmorra profunda”, e foi construído no local da antiga prisão real, localizada no sítio histórico de Artashat. Foi nesta mesma prisão que eles mantiveram Gregório, o Iluminador, o primeiro católico armênio, por 13 anos inteiros. Portanto, não é surpresa que este lugar seja um dos lugares mais sagrados para os armênios em todo o mundo. Da mesma forma, também é o ponto mais próximo do Monte Ararat da Armênia; muitas vezes este local torna-se o motivo número 1 para visitar o nosso país!
O passeio irá levá-lo para a Caverna do Pássaro. Em 2008, os arqueólogos descobriram vários dos artefatos mais antigos do mundo, incluindo um sapato de couro e uma adega. O local, com vista para o rio Arpa, perto da cidade de Areni, é reivindicado como datado principalmente do início da Idade do Bronze (cerca de 5.000-6.000 anos atrás). Ele também contém evidências de elaborados rituais de enterro e práticas agrícolas.
Além de Khor Virap, outro lugar imperdível é Noravank. É uma das joias da arquitetura medieval armênia, aninhada no alto entre as impressionantes falésias de tijolos vermelhos no final do Gnishik Canyon. Aqui você verá a única representação de Deus Pai na Armênia, que é tão surpreendente quanto o rosto de Jesus Cristo que apareceu na cúpula do nártex da Igreja. Construída por nobres orbelianos, destaca-se entre as nossas igrejas como o sepulcro desta família nobre, tornando-a única, pois era absolutamente proibido enterrar pessoas dentro de uma igreja desde o século V.
O teleférico mais longo do mundo (aprox. 6 km), que foi registrado no Guinness Book of Records em 2010. Durante o seu passeio, você desfrutará de uma vista espetacular sobre um dos lugares mais bonitos da Armênia (se não em o mundo).

The tour guide is very professional and very atmospheric, making it easy for everyone to interact. The car is comfortable, it is worth visiting the place, and finally go to a place selling Portuguese wine to try wine, although not my favorite taste, but still can try it, the price is reasonable.

We had a small group with Anastasia and she treated us like family. She was engaged, educational, and funny. Edgar our driver was quite impressive. The sights were stunning and the wine tasting was fun and not too long after lunch. And the spot we stop at for lunch is absolutely beautiful, on a small lake. Would do a tour with this group again!

Armenia is stunningly beautiful and such a different country! We are very lucky to have a guide - Anastasia is insanely interesting about the history of the country and its culture. Learned a lot of new things not only within the route, but also what else must be seen in Armenia. So we're already planning our next vacation here. Recently we were on 4 excursions from this agency, visited Khor Virap and Noravanka (03.04), Delijan and Lake Sevan (05.04), Garni and Gegard (09.04) and cable car in Tatev (11.04). We were very pleased. Liked the comfortable minibuses, treats and attitude in general. We even asked once to change our schedule for two tours and the agency was happy to help us. All the guides did well, especially remember Naira Vardanyan, Jasmine and Sona. Separately I want to note Naira V. - she tried to make the stay of all tourists comfortable, suggested beautiful locations for the photo and helped with any questions. We were very lucky to take her on two tours out of four. P.S. On the bus, seats are allocated on the basis of "first come, first come, best seat", so if you do not want to sit at the end - just come to the meeting in advance. P.P.S. Boldly include lunches, feed plenty and taste good!
