I had such a wonderful day visiting 2 major Star Wars sites (I’m a huge fan) from Star Wars Episode 1 “The Phantom Menace”. It was real magic seeing them in person. Also visiting the Berber village of Chenini with a lovely local Berber man “Sayed” who can speak English, Italian, French, Arabic and more! Stopping in Tataouine for a delish traditional and very delicious full lunch (spicey tomato and pasta stew, spinach/ potato pastry, cous cous with chicken and vegetables, dessert and water) We also visited the huge salt lake next to Djerba. Walking on the banks was so cool as it felt/ looked like snow! Which is surreal in a typically warm place like Tunisia! I felt very safe and comfortable throughout the trip. Plenty of opportunities to use a restroom and truly wonderful guide “Montana” and super driver made it feel warm and personal. Great service. I booked the tour extremely last minute (it had already departed the island!) but the kind company owner was super in taking me to the tour personally by car to rendezvous with it. I didn't miss anything, thankfully. Everything was smooth, organised, super value for money and well worth seeing. Tunisia is a beautiful country full of warm lovely and very humble kind people…and so many great films were made there. Star Wars, Indiana Jones, The English Patient and many more. I highly recommend visiting Djerba, Tunisia and 100% doing this trip. Thank you
This was excellent. The 4x4 was comfortable. The guide was excellent. The food incredible. The agenda was changed but made even better. Very good memories.
Beautiful exit in the direction of Tataouine. The city itself is not great but the surroundings are beautiful: small sand desert, salt lake, city of Chenini with cave houses, Ksar Kesada, etc. We also benefited from a great guide! Very good breakfast. Must do when living in Djerba.
A magnificent discovery not to be missed. Plan (it was in September) enough to protect you from the sun and water to cool off.

I wanted to explore Chenini and Tataouine so I signed up for this trip. I was brought to an oasis in the morning and spent 3 hours, so others can do camel riding and quad bike. We went to Ksar Hadeda and Chenini after lunch. It was so hot that we didn’t even bother exploring. The trip could be done in half a day from Djerba. If it has to be a day trip, the visit should be in the morning and activities in the afternoon, not the other way.

Very nice island, with a good water temperature and with a problem with the waste of animals on some beaches, as they make large concentrations of dromedaries to walk the tourists but I never saw anyone cleaning the beaches or an animal with proper retention. I know it's organic but... The people are very nice and do not annoy the sellers when we say no thanks, do not insist. Then we have the excursions to the continent.

Driver 5 stars. Pretty communicative. He didn't speak English very well. But with the mobile phone translator it crashed. Top lunch at a village restaurant.
