7h Nosso guia turístico irá encontrá-lo no lobby do hotel e depois dirigiremos 1,5 horas para o noroeste de Saigon, através da zona rural do sul até os lendários túneis de Cu Chi. Estendendo-se desde Saigão até à fronteira entre o Vietname e o Camboja, a rede inclui inúmeros alçapões, áreas de habitação emaranhadas, instalações de armazenamento e fábricas de armas, mini-hospitais militares, centros de comando e até cozinhas. Neste passeio, você explorará a vida de um soldado vietcongue no subsolo.
- Estendendo-se por mais de 200 km, esta rede de túneis - escavados à mão - conecta abrigos, postos, hospitais e depósitos de armas... Você pode caminhar pela área e aprender sobre a vida de VC, enfrentar as entradas habilmente disfarçadas e armadilhas elaboradas. Em seguida, a minivan dirigirá cerca de duas horas para chegar à área do Mekong.
- Almoce em restaurante local a caminho do Mekong. - Após o almoço, deixe a cidade grande para trás enquanto o cenário é gradualmente substituído por arrozais e aldeias rurais no seu caminho para My Tho. - Em seguida, a viagem começará pegando pequenos barcos e navegando no rio para visitar uma fábrica de coco para aprender como fazer doce de coco aqui e provar alguns produtos locais. Então você terá a oportunidade de passear de carruagem pela vila e saborear algumas frutas tropicais.
- Depois disso, o incrível passeio de barco a remo pelo pequeno canal da vila de Tan Thach, em Ben Tre, é algo que você não pode perder. Great private tour done with Lee and driver who took us safely everywhere. In the morning we went to the tunnels. In the car Lee told us all about the war history, not only from the books but also from his father. We arrived before the big crowds and the visit was very impressive. The second part of the day was slightly modified at our request; for example a Vietnamese and Buddhist temple (where monks also live) were added and horse and cart ride changed to tuk tuk. We skipped the honey where many tours stop. Lee had arranged a private boat that took us in the Mekong to several stops. All in all had a really great day. A private tour may be a bit more expensive but we really liked it. We booked Lee through tours with locals.

A great day out. Penny was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable about the tunnels and the history of the Vietnamese war. We learnt so much from her. It is a long day so be prepared for that. We also want to say how great the driver was.
Penny is an absolutely fantastic tour guide. She is extremely knowledgeable and completely made the trip for us. Her English is exceptional. Apart from seeing the the Cu Chi Tunnels, which was quite an eye opening experience, we had a lovely trip along the Mekong Delta, stopping for lunch and going to a couple of small islands which was really interesting. All in all a great day.
