It felt very personal and showed us some hidden gems in Surrey Hills. Our guide was full of local knowledge, not only of food but also the history of the area. We would absolutely recommend to others travelling to Sydney that want to find hidden places to eat and drink like the locals. Do it early in your stay so you can go back and explore the menus at leisure. The amount of food filled is all up! Don’t eat lunch before if you are planning an afternoon tour and think wisely about your dinner plans, maybe choose a light meal for that evening.

This was a nice long tour all over Surry Hills. A mix of savory and sweet with one of the best burgers over ever had to top it off. I would do it just for the burger at the end! Be ready to walk a lot, but learn a good amount too. This is a fun tour that lasts a few hours and is informational too. We had a really fun group.

My partner and I are both Sydney locals who joined this tour in June. Whilst we knew a few of the spots, there were some great suprises to add to our saved locations in the area. Absolutely loved the last meal, and the sweet treats and boho vegan restaurant were great! Some of the other guests on the tour were also from Sydney and had bought this as a gift - such a great idea I will consider in future.

Without a doubt, a superlative food tour in Sydney. A great way to acquaint with some of the more iconic central parts of the city, while enjoying a rich mix of the diversity of local food-scene; old faves alongside hidden gems of which my partner and I were previously unfamiliar. You will not finish this tour hungry. Janine, our guide, was a delight too. Very knowledgable of the area and obvious passion in sharing her insights and love of Sydney. As a Sydney-sider, I would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat (note a number of guests were also Sydney-siders, who had purchased for a friend as a gift)!

I went to the meeting point as scheduled, but the guide never showed up. After contacting the operator via WhatsApp, I was told they had decided to cancel the tour because I was the only participant. I had booked this tour well in advance and was really looking forward to it. The operator claimed they had sent me an email about the cancellation, but that doesn't change the fact that they canceled a confirmed booking at the last minute. There was no indication on the booking page that the tour could be canceled due to a low number of participants. If that is their policy, it should be clearly stated before customers book. This experience was extremely disappointing and completely disrupted my plans. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this tour.

We reached out well in advance of your scheduled tour through several emails to let you know that, due to the number of participants, we were hoping to reschedule your booking. We made multiple attempts to get in touch, but unfortunately, we did not receive a response before the tour date. On occasion, we do make this type of adjustment to preserve the experience for our guests, as the shared and social nature of our food tours is an important part of what makes them enjoyable. We regret that our messages did not reach you in time. When it became clear that the available rescheduling options would not work with your plans, we promptly processed a full refund for your booking. While we're saddened this visit didn't work out, we truly hope you'll consider joining us again if your travels bring you back to Sydney. We'd welcome the opportunity to share the experience we know so many of our guests have come to enjoy.
We had a great time and Karina was fabulous. Lots of great food and drinks to taste. Karina was very knowledgeable and interesting. She had great information about the food and the places we visited. The pace of the tour was just right. She also told us lots of good historical information about the Surry Hills area. Highly recommend!
