The people running the ranch are extremely nice and our tour guide Abril was very good. This excursion was horseback riding to the beach and not on the beach which was a bit disappointing from what I expected. Still I enjoyed the ride.
Loved going during the early evening hours. Weather was perfect. Just enough breeze. Trail was calming and easy to ride through. I had thought there would be more walking by the beach but it really wasn’t and thats ok. It was very enjoyable, peaceful and relaxing.
Excellent time! Beautiful landscape. Barbara and Nelson was super fun and accommodating. The horses are very well trained. Wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend.
It was great!!!! Love the people they were very good with us I love and enjoy the whole experiences $#$ ❤️
We recently booked a 2-hour horseback ride in Aruba, and while the scenery was undeniably beautiful, the overall experience was deeply concerning. The horses appeared very old and poorly cared for. The stables were dirty and unkempt, which immediately raised concerns about their welfare. During the ride, my horse fell three times. While the terrain is indeed rocky, it was evident that the horse was nervous and not well-suited for the conditions. What was most troubling was the handler’s behavior. He repeatedly approached my horse yelling instructions, which clearly frightened the animal. Each time he came near, the horse became more agitated and even bolted to get away from him. Outside of these interactions, I had no difficulty managing the horse, making it clear that the issue was not rider control but the stress being placed on the animal. We were also given sticks to prompt the horses to move, which felt unnecessary given that the horses responded calmly when treated gently. When I mentioned that my horse was doing fine and didn’t require intervention, the guide dismissed my concern and continued shouting. I also raised concerns that the horse seemed older and in need of patience, but was told—implausibly—that it was young and already on its third ride of the day in intense heat. The ride itself takes place through a very hot, rocky desert landscape. While visually stunning, it felt inappropriate for horses that appeared fatigued and poorly conditioned. Finally, the owner of the ranch was noticeably unfriendly and unwelcoming, which added to the negative impression. In summary, while the natural beauty of Aruba made parts of this experience enjoyable, the apparent condition of the horses and the handling practices were distressing. I would strongly encourage others to consider animal welfare when choosing a tour operator.
Friendly, professional, small group was a plus. Guide was good, knew the horses, help the riders that required assistance.
The experience through the countryside and the beach was very enjoyable. the scenery is beautiful. Our guide was helpful
Beautiful nature, fine, well-groomed horses and a nice guide. The most beautiful way to explore Aruba!
This was a wonderful experience. We took a ride down a twisting path full of scenery, where we later arrived at the ocean. It was a marvelous view. The guide stopped a couple od times and took pictures of us with our own phones. The sunset was beautiful. The ride was relaxing, the horses are trained very well. If you are a beginner you have no worries, you rarely have to interact for them to go where they need to. He also took us on a few places where we could open up a little and get to galloping. I recommend this experience to everyone. We would definitely do it again.
Absolutely fantastic experience!! Our guide was so kind and took pictures at different checkpoints. I haven’t ridden horses in years and I would say you need little to no experience the horses are very well trained to go exactly where they need to go.
