The Guides were wonderful- the experience of bioluminescence is a lifetime memory! So glad we went!
Jorge was amazing! He was very friendly, capable, and very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife there. He also pointed out various constellations once it was dark. The tour was great. We saw so many amazing things: manatees, flamingos, and roseate spoonbills, to name a few. After it got dark, we got to hold a comb jelly in our hands. The bioluminescence was an amazing experience.
Brandy, John, & Nicholas were awesome & led us on a fun adventure to see the beauty of God’s creation. The jellies were very squishy!
Three of us went on the Mondo Combo tour with A Day Away. It was not cheap, but it sure was worth the price. Jorge was an excellent tour guide. He showed us beautiful scenery and was very friendly.
My sister and I did the sunset tour. Our tour guide, Jorge, had a wealth of knowledge . He shared with excitement about the wildlife, jellyfish, stars and his job at NASA. I definitely recommend this tour as a great get away from crowds.
Our tour guide Jorge was phenomenal! He was friendly, knowledgeable and we saw so many dolphins, manatees and birds. The bioluminescent jellyfish were cool too!
Our tour guide was excellent! Great sense of humor and full of great info on the area and what we were looking at. Highly recommended!
Our guide Aidan was amiable and filled in knowledge gaps on the area and its nature. We saw a little bit of the bioluminescence, but nothing like the pictures. We did see a manatee, and paddled through the mangroves in the dark. There were dozens of other kayakers in tours at the same time. An ok experience for the cost.
Altho we enjoyed the paddling and being on the river for sunset we did not see anh bioluminescence as advertised in the booking.
We thoroughly enjoyed the sunset bioluminescence tour! Aiden and Matt were great guides, laid back but informative. The bioluminescence was absolutely amazing, never seen anything like it. We also saw lots of dolphins, one even slapped his tail 4-5 times as if telling us hello. The guides said they had never seen that before. The tour was exciting and relaxing at the same time! Highly recommend!
