This is the second time I’ve taken this tour, and this time I brought my wife. There were two of us on the tour which happened to be during an England World Cup match, which meant that we got to enjoy the football alongside the food with the locals, and then later my wife enjoyed the football chat with the men in one of the cafes. As Mohamed points out, the places you eat are often hidden away, with no names above the door and no visible menu. Make sure you’re hungry, there’s lots of food and Mohamed is a great host!
Our guide was amazing, polite, and educational. My group & guide even had a birthday cake for me. Such a lovely experience.
Our street food tour was amazing! We got the authentic food experience ate amazing food at places we would never have found ourselves. Mohamed was very knowledgeable and a fantastic guide through the night.

We had an incredible food tour in Marrakech with Mohamed. From start to finish, he went above and beyond to make the experience special for our group. Not only did he introduce us to amazing local food and hidden gems, but he also surprised us by organizing a special birthday cake, which made the day even more memorable. What impressed us most was how well he catered to everyone in our group, ranging in age from 5 to 65. He was patient, engaging, and made sure that each person felt included and comfortable throughout the tour. His knowledge of Marrakech, its culture, and its food was outstanding, and he shared everything with genuine passion and warmth. Traveling with family and friends can sometimes be challenging when trying to keep everyone happy, but Mohamed made it effortless. A wonderful experience, well worth it!! Have recommended to friends already. Informative and fun, we tried different foods that locals eat and as a traveller would not necessarily have tried. Thoroughly recommend taking this tour with Mohamed.
Lots of stops, good enthusiastic guide, nice food and a great way to get a feel for the city. Also definitely one of the more local feeling of the supposedly eat like a local tours that are so common now.
We had a lovely, informative foodie trip with Mohamad. He went out of the way to get me special gluten free pancakes, bread and cake from a local bakery. We ate delicious flavoursome shakshuka, pancakes filled with a choice of cheese and honey or peanut/almond butter, fried fish and aubergine, beautiful bean soup/stew and gorgeous pastries followed by a wonderful a smoothie from the best juice bar. There was so much food, we could not eat for the rest of the day. Bnin! 😋
We did the food eating tour with Mohamed last night. It was a fantastic tour that lasted about 3 hours. We started the tour hungry and we went to so many different places that we left the food tour full. Mohamed was great at explaining lots of different things and the food and Marrakech. We did this tour on our first day here.
Spending the evening with Mohammed was great and memorable. He is warm, friendly and my three kids (ages 11-13 years old) loved speaking to him. We liked how local the experience was and the variety of food we tried. Mohammed did his best to make sure we were always comfortable and answers all our questions. The tour is fun, engaging and educational for our family. Highly recommend booking with Mohammed for a food tour. And come hungry - there was so much food!
