Wat Ban Den, anteriormente conhecido como Wat Ribunrueang, é um dos templos mais extraordinários de Chiang Mai e também um dos maiores complexos de templos da província de Chiang Mai. Quando Wat Ban Den conseguiu um novo abade em 1988, o templo estava em más condições. O novo abade recebeu muitas doações da população local e de budistas de todo o país. Com estas doações o templo foi completamente renovado e uma série de estruturas impressionantes foram acrescentadas. Embora as estruturas do templo sejam relativamente novas, elas são construídas em estilo arquitetônico tradicional. Você pode apreciar detalhes da arte religiosa histórica de Lanna, um Buda reclinado e Budas sentados, e homenagear os 12 animais do Zodíaco Chinês. A barragem e reservatório Mae Ngat está localizada no lado oeste do Parque Nacional Si Lanna e oferece um refúgio tranquilo e pitoresco da agitação da cidade. A barragem de Mae Ngat foi construída na década de 1980 para fornecer irrigação à agricultura na bacia circundante de Mae Ngat. Há tanta aderência nas rochas que você pode facilmente subir as cataratas. Esta cachoeira é única e um lugar popular para relaxar.
Também faremos uma parada no Mercado Chedi Mae Krua. Este mercado não é absolutamente nenhuma atração turística, mas sim um verdadeiro e autêntico mercado local. Uma parada interessante para o turista conhecer o cotidiano simples das pessoas desta região. Dê um passeio pelo mercado e tenha uma ideia da vida tailandesa fora da cidade. Small group, very friendly and knowledgeable guide, very pleasant experience. Beyond the obvious highlight of climbing the sticky waterfall (Bua Tong), I also loved the calm and relaxing boat trip as well as seeing a local fruit market.

This tour is so much fun and what really makes this tour amazing is because we had the best tour guide of Thailand. Saman is so wonderful, thoughtful, polite and respectful of our time and space. The sticky waterfalls is our favorite thing to do and we wish we had gone to the very bottom of the falls before we walked up. The hike up was very easy and super fun.

Brilliant day. 4 or 5 stops during the course of the day. Our tour Guide Tik was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to help with anything we needed. Highlights of the day was the boat ride on the Dam, Followed by the sticky waterfall.

Amazing day trip - food market, temples, boat trip and sticky waterfall First stop seeing all the fresh food. Next we stopped at the most amazing temples we have seen. Our guide, Tik, was brilliant with his details of the temples and the history behind varied Buddha’s. Next to Srilanna Dam where we took a boat up the river to see the floating hotel and other accommodation. Amazing beauty all around. Finally the Sticky Waterfalls where you walk/climb using ropes. Not for the faint hearted, but we all really enjoyed it (age range 56-64) A fantastic day and worth the money, but mostly it was made so good by Tik.

This was supposed to be a group tour, but we were the only guests, so we effectively had a private one. Our tour guide was very informative and keen on answering our questions. We had fun at the waterfall, visited a local market where we were the only tourists and had a good time at the blue temple and during the boat tour.

Excellent trip out for the day, transport was brilliant in an very clean & tidy mini bus. Saman (our guide) was very friendly & knowledgeable & took time to explain local customs and there way of life, done in a factual hands on personal way. A trip to local market turned out to be surprisingly informative with various ingredients sampled, the visit to the temple complex was relaxed with plenty of time to admire the site, all the time being politely informed of what the culture meant to the local area. Then onto the boat with some scenic views around the reservoir, followed by lunch,(the happy room had a brilliant view), before arriving at the waterfall. Once again Saman was full of information which added to the experience, and many thanks for assisting the other half up the waterfall & giving us both an experience neither of us will forget. Very good day out made memorable & personal by our guide . Thanks again.
